Can't even get a garage key fixed in a timely manner. Poor communication, staff are not helpful. They book appointments before discussing the availability of the customer, They just assume you'll be home. If you miss the appointment they've booked without your knowledge, then good luck trying to re-book as reception says the booking person is unavailable and I don't know when they'll be in next".The tradies will call you the day of the job and if you don't answer well good luck getting anything fixed."

A good job in fixing my garage door was spoiled by the incompetence of the office /accounts staff.They requested my credit card number before attending to service my door, a week later just took money from my card with no invoice and no permission. I called and spoke to a Pat " and explained that this amounted to theft and could they at least provide me with an invoice

All I can say is these guys were great from start to finish. The installers were great blokes and did a great job. Do not hesitate to use them, I am happy we did.

First off, they call me weeks after my initial request because they require a credit card to enter the job into their schedule. Red flag!Had a door that screeched like a MF. Had one of their techs come out and check. They couldn't grease it properly without taking it down. Fine. They're coming back another day to unroll and properly service it.The problem is that from the beginning admin calls in the afternoon to book the job for the next day. I don't know about you, but my employers don't like me not turning up the next day without warning. I keep telling these people I need more than one afternoon's notice, but they never listen. They never give any notice. Is their job schedule really only one day in the future?The other problem is that for the first visit, the guy didn't take his time fitting the siderails properly, because we both agreed that they'll come back soon for the proper job. A week and a half after that first appointment they decide to invoice me and automatically charge my credit card $129 for what amounted to an inspection.Now the door still screeches, but now also runs into the top stops going up (It's electric) and shudders on the way down. And I'm $129 poorer.And I just found out they never recorded the job and aren't coming, despite them calling me to confirm last business day.The techs are probably ok. Admin is incompetent.Edit: Speaking of incompetent. Their reply below is pathetic. You know who I am and you know how you could've fixed it. I'll give you a clue. I had a job booked on the day this review was posted. I demanded a phone call to the boss on that day. I never heard anything from them.

Installed a roller door on my unit and its been 7 months and still perfect and the custom fitting they did as well was perfect. From start to finish they were great. Thanks again

Efficient, friendly service from the first phone call. Installation guys did a great job. I am very happy with my new quiet roller door!

I contacted ATA to find a very basic spare part for my gate opener, who pointed me to The Roller Door Man as the local distributor for spare parts.After contacting them with the part number and following it up multiple times - it took The Roller Door Man over a month to get back to me. At this point they refused to sell the part unless I paid for them to come out and install it themselves, or I should find somewhere else to get it online. Terrible service, would not recommend.

Do not use this business to install anything. One of the worst run businesses I've ever had to deal with!! Administration is terrible to organise an appointment with. Didn't turn up for the job first time around, told me they would contact me for follow-up appointment for installation. Didn't call me. I constantly had to chase them around in order to finally get an install completed. Worst administration I've ever had to deal with. Stay well away!!

Great service, had what I needed when I just walked in, price was better than another another B&D roller door stockists.
