I have walked by this place numerous times and finally had a chance to try it. It’s a fairly large place located on a corner and has seating outside as well.Menu is good and they have plenty of vegetarian options a couple of vegan options. I am sure you can get more if you ask. I had the corn fritters and whilst I like mine crispier this was very nice with the avocado and poached eggs. The Açai bowl was also very tasty. Coffee is average but the service is good and staff are super friendly and quick.I would happily come here again. It’s a great location and when the Balmain markets are on you can watch the bands play whilst enjoying brunch :-)

The service at The Old Rosebud is exceptional. The baristas are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. They took the time to explain the different brewing methods and offered recommendations based on my preferences. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing an outstanding coffee experience truly impressed me.In addition to their coffee, The Old Rosebud also offers a mouthwatering selection of pastries and snacks. I couldn't resist indulging in their freshly baked croissants, which were buttery, flaky, and absolutely delicious. The food complemented the coffee perfectly and made my visit even more enjoyable.

Was told by a friend about this Gem. Came here for Brunch and was greeted immediately by staff and shown to our table. Ordered “The Cure” and “Big Plate”. Didn’t take long for food to arrive even when the place was buzzing. Food was delicious, good choice of sourdough. Coffee was fantastic, exactly how Campos coffee should taste.Would 100% recommend coming to check this place out.

Really great place for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Sydney. We shared ‘the Cure’. It’s a huge bacon and egg roll. Delicious. Recommended by our lovely wait person (I hate the term server) from her personal experience.It certainly cured my hunger.I’ll be back there again for sure.

First time here, busy timing but luckily no queue . Food was quick, no fault , big portion. Service was great, all waiters were really nice and attentive. Should’ve taken more photos but was too in the moment and only took one photo. Very spacious inside between tables and walkways , family and dog friendly. Highly recommended , definitely come back

My partner and I both LOVED the corn zucchini fritters and the acai bowl. I loved that there were many seats on the inside and outside of the cafe. However, the best thing is the service here. Super friendly staff. I would definitely come back again the next time I visit Sydney.

Fabulous as always! The Old Rosebud cafe remains my all time favourite place to go to in Rozelle/Balmain.My ‘full of beans’ coffee and divine avo bruschetta after a morning stroll round the bay are the perfect ingredients to a great day!!! And of course, being greeted with the gorgeous smile from owner, Michelle, is what just what I needed today!! Thank you!

So happy I found this place. Great service. The lunch here was fantastic and I can not wait to come back.The food here tasted so incredibly fresh and even my picky dining companions enjoyed everything we tried. Don’t forget to try Reuben sandwich ;)
