Paperbark Bush Camp is such a beautiful camp ground! Had the most wonderful time with my family. Very well looked after grounds and amenities, lots of awesome spots to choose from, close to the beach, such a quiet and peaceful spot and the locals are very friendly.Would definitely recommend and will be back!

The grounds, facilities etc were excellent. Paula and John, the 2 employees were very good, friendly and helpful. Two detracting features in my view.1. Nobody there, just us got 2 nights. Previous stays there have been quite a number of vans, and great nights around a communal firepit. We were told they don’t advertise in Wiki, as that costs money. I think if they did they’d get a lot more staying there.2. I think for where it is, and what you get, $40 for powered, $30 for unpowered, is a bit on the high side. My view, but having said that still was happy to pay that, but it might deter some.

What a breath taking spot to camp. Genuinely friendly hosts. Beautiful natural Australian bush land with sand filtered water you could bottle. A choice of bush camps or amenities powered sites. The whole extended family had a relaxing but eventful week with open grassy spaces to play and run, play a bit of backyard cricket and footy. We made many lovely memories. We had a powered site near to toilets and hot showers - so we glamped. Next time we are looking forward to a bush site to really get back to nature with the Kangaroos and Kookaburras and I saw an Emu! Great fishing, crabbing and 4WDriving adventures near by just past the bottle shop and local store. The beach is just around the corner with an easy 4wd and then take a break for fun in the sun and fresh Pacific ocean air. The sunsets are poetic and you can see the entire Milky Way galaxy at night so I bring my telescope to impress the kids while they roast their Marshmallows. We have fallen in love with this little gem and highly recommend Paperback Bush Camp to anyone who wants to get out of the hustle and bustle but still have access to the 21st century but in the bush. So looking forward to our New Years holidays again this year too.

My stay here was so renewing & so peaceful. It was exactly what I needed to help me heal from the crazy busy city life. I found the management to be so caring & also respectful of my privacy. The amenities are clean & a welcome comfort after a long drive. The property is covered in thriving wildlife which also gives that extra feeling of being in a healthy place. Catching a sunrise at Rules Beach was definitely a must and it is hard to describe the quiet that hugs you to sleep every night. A camp fire under the bright starry night & an afternoon nap also on my ticked list.I will definitely be back again & i tell all my friends to visit here to experience this lovely part of our beautiful country. Thank you

What an amazing camp ground, spent 6 days here with my kids, the toilets are easy to access and spotless, easy to get to the beach for a swim, the kids had a ball walking around the property and exploring. Highly recommend, the owners are lovely and very helpful,

Had the best time at Paperbark Bush Camp!! Love the location, so close to Baffle Creek for crabbing and fishing. Spoilt with beautiful sunrises at what felt like a private beach. Great hosts and felt very blessed to bring my best dog friend!! Thanks, we'll be back.

Wonderful bush style camping. Huge sites. Had all our adult kids and the grandkids staying at the Barramundi site. Room for everyone. Beach was a short drive away and there is a 4x4 track through to Agnes Waters for a fun day trip.We will definitely go again.
