Lovely little cafe on our way to merimbula, decided to stop at bairnsdale for a lunch break. It’s on the main St and very easy street parking. We ordered the Caesar salad and a couple of their sourdough toasties, it was delicious, and also very filling. The staff are also very friendly and attentive, the food came quick and the price is fair for the quality, I would definitely visit again on the way back for their other delicious options on the menu, they also got a little outdoor garden in the back, what a jam!!! Highly recommend!!

What an excellent, modern and well designed establishment. The experience was top notch with friendly staff and great food. Every dish that left the kitchen look brilliant. Great work I can't wait to visit again soon! Cheers.

Had a great breakfast here. Staff were really attentive and allowed for some modifications to the menu for our 11yo. I had an incredible venison sausage with greens and poached eggs. Sausages were excellent. Then a single origin coffee (long black). I was worried about the coffee when it arrived with little cream but it was really delicious and perfect temperature for drinking. Decor is a little unassuming but the food and coffee is excellent.

Absolute best breakfast my Fiance and I have ever had, there were some flavour profiles we've never experienced before and I'm so glad we stopped in. Absolutely cleaned the plates, had to slow ourselves down to make sure we properly enjoyed the experience. Everyone was so friendly and clearly had a lot of passion for their food and beverages. Loved that they use as much fresh produce from the area as they could get their hands on. Excellent food, great coffee, incredible people. Very quick service too, which didn't compromise the quality at all. Would absolutely recommend you eat here!!

I ordered the open steak sandwich, and I got the last one. OMG: it was amazing! I’m not sure what the sauce was, but it had a hint of blue cheese… wonderful! The beef was cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth.The plate came with some chips which I didn’t taste, but they didn’t need to be there: the sandwich didn’t need them to shine on that plate.Coffee was great too. I think it was a single origin from Kenya. Really nice.

What a delight this cafe and restaurant is. We were on an 8 h drive and found this great spot online. The menu is all local sourced and unique. We had a great lunch and wonderful coffee. This place is worthwhile driving a long way for breakfast or lunch. Top class!

Ploughmans Lunch… it’s a must!This wonderful cafe/restaurant was recommended to us.The Ploughmans Platter showcased produce from this region.Being a confirmed “coffee snob”, I was impressed that my coffee was brought to me just how I like it.Thank you to the staff.Very impressed.

Stopped in here because it looked like a nice place. My mate and I both ordered the Banh Mi. The pork was amazing, so tasty - the staff were friendly and the food came out quickly. Will definitely be back!

Northern Ground serves an excellent coffee and chai latte. I ordered a brewed soy chai latte and it was amazing. The honey they gave me had so much flavour too! Lunch was beautiful. So glad we found this gem in Bairnsdale.
