Journey Street Food

Journey Street Food catered my recent 50th birthday party. The food was delicious, and I had many guests raving about the food and asking about the caterers. The service was punctual and well-spaced through the night and the wait staff pleasant and friendly with my guests. Ruby and Channa were easy and friendly to deal with in the lead up to the party and arrived early due to the terrible weather. I highly recommend Journey Street Catering.

Oh My Gosh ! Ruby and her team at Journey Street Foods went above and beyond firstly with excellent communication to ensure we had all the information about menu, pricing, what we should need to order etc. As well as bringing us a tasting plate to try everything before booking them for our backyard wedding. Their menu suited our Balinese themed wedding beautifully, right down to the way everything was served in little bamboo boats with banana leaves and edible flowers for decoration. Our guests are still raving about the quality and flavours of all the menu items as well as how much there was to eat ! That's what you want from a Caterer - is to ensure the guests are happy. The beautiful staff that were serving were also incredibly polite and obliging to our guests and ensured the food was equally served amongst them all as we did a cocktail style dinner. This team set up and packed down in their space at our house very independently and cleaned up beautifully after as well. If I could give 10 stars on this review I would. Thank you so much Ruby, Channa and team - you helped make our wedding day magical.

Journey Street food were absolutely amazing caterers for our wedding last Saturday. Our guests absolutely loved the food, as did we and they are super easy to deal with. Ruby communicated so well by email and was very professional and knowledgeable, helping us to get our selection and servings just right. They are also just thoroughly nice people. Ruby, Channa & the whole team at Journey Street Food are fantastic! We had a 'DIY Wedding' on the Sunshine Coast, and their mobile kitchen was perfect. They were so easy to deal with from start to finish and accommodated all of our needs & wants. The hardest choice was picking which canapes to have, because they all sounded so amazing, but once we did, Ruby organised a lovely tasting plate for us to sample them. On the big day, they set up and packed down without anyone noticing. The food was absolutely DELISH, the presentation was beautiful and all of our guests raved about it. It was a nice surprise to see the team's smiley faces in our Photobooth pics the next day too. Could not recommend these guys highly enough! Thanks again for everything team :) - Ashlee & Nathan

Journey Street Food catered for our son and daughter in law's intimate wedding. They did an amazing job with the way they presented the food. We chose the Mexican menu which had lovely authentic flavours. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food. Thanks again Ruby. Much appreciated by everyone.

Ruby and Channa were an absolute dream to work with, the planning process was completely seamless and so easy! On the night the two of them and their team were so great, we had so many people compliment the food and their service. Their menu is amazing I still think about how good that beef rendang was!!! I got married in Feburary. The food was delicious! Everyone raved about it and left with full bellys which was really important to us. Ruby was so easy to deal with throughout the whole process even when we made multiple changes. 100% recommend them.

We had Journey Street Food cater our wedding. Ruby and Channa had excellent communication from the start. We enjoyed our tasting, which helped us choose what menu we would have for our banquet style reception for around 80 people. We chose the Mediterranean menu and even after over 2 months have passed, our guests continue to compliment the food. The roving canapés also were an excellent way to keep people fed and happy between the ceremony and reception.We would recommend Journey Street Food for your event, especially if you like amazing food that is great value for money.
