A great location, central to all facilities, only about 300 metres from the lagoon and all its beauty.Close to restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.The units were very clean and well laid out, BBQ facilities provided in various locations around the apartment blocks.We had a great stay.

Fantastic place to stay that is central to everything. The location could not be better. Gaye made sure we had everything we needed. Airport pickup and dropoff included. The wifi coverage could be better but there were certain spots in our apartment to get signal or else going to the common room provides perfect signal. The rooms are not extravagant but very homely and provided everything we needed. We were impressed at the backpacks and drink bottles we could use! The kitchen provided everything we needed if we wanted to cook for ourselves. Thanks for a great stay! We'll definitely be back

Somerset Apartments are situated in the best location on the island, with easy access to the centre of town, beaches, the lagoon, and bush walks. Luscious tropical gardens surround all accommodation and the rooms are spacious and clean. Most importantly the owners and staff are wonderful hosts, making my two week stay stress free and the service was 5 star. Thanks very much to Gai and the Somerset team, look forward to seeing you again.

Great place to stay. Centrally located, and you don't need to ride up the hill at the back of town! WiFi coverage could be a bit better, but ideally suited to the island lifestyle.

Great central location offering everything we could have hoped for. Fastidiously clean. Hot showers. Quiet and super friendly. Courtesy bus to and from the airport and local restaurants. Definitely recommended

Stayed here for our second time just recently (8 years between visits) and had an excellent stay both times. Central location, clean accommodation, great staff! Great little kitchen which made it possible to prepare our own meals when we wanted to.

The advantage of Somerset Apartments is the cabin style accommodation. We were lucky enough to have a two bedroom cabin with a, generous sized, private deck. Loved the welcome posey of hibiscus which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean, the kitchenette has a small gas hub, the updated bathroom was very nice. Close to the shops and cafes/restaurants. The only issue this cabin really needs ceiling fans in the lounge room and main bedroom.

No frills but comfortable and clean ... would definitely stay here again - good free WiFi in the common room and which can reach the rooms but weak.

Loved it here. Perfect location, only a short walk to Ned's Beach, Lagoon Beach (with its stunning views of Mt Lidgebird and Mt Gower) and local restaurants and shops.Room was great, bed comfy, great wifi connection from my room, and staff were very friendly. Will stay again for sure

The apartment was perfect for our group. We had two rooms between four people. Staff were very friendly and accomodating to our needs. A short walk (as is every where else on the island) to the CBD of Lord Howe where the cafe is and pay phone.
