5 years ago we had a deck built and within a year the treated pine , purchased from b&b ,started to split. We put on a oil base paint and top coats as directed. Builders last week were amazed it was in need of replacing after obvious numerous coats of paint. Not in a overly used area. Be aware. Over $2000 worth of decking.

They got 1 star because when my order of 270mtr of decking timber arrived it only had 220 mtrs in it, then when they sent the extra 50mtr it was actually 47mtrs.Also the 50mtrs was made up of offcuts. They kept telling me that they have some special machine that measures the timber and that it shouldn’t be wrong, insinuating to me that I’m not telling the truth. And tried to tell me that it’s normal to get a hole pack of decking timber in short lengths. Not good for doing a deck as you end up doing twice as much work and using more screws and have a lot of trouble trying to make it all fit.If you go with These cowboys all ways measure the timber they pack.
