Dux Anchorage is a special place for boaties and their guests. Situated on South Stradbroke Island, it belongs to Southport Yacht Club and understandably is only available to members. We visited as guests of a member and enjoyed a bbq lunch, using their facilities, in the lovely grounds they have created. One can walk across the island to the surf side, an easy and enjoyable walk. If one was a boatie, a membership enquiry could be worthwhile.

Great, Awesome, Fantastic. It's beautiful. The yacht club look after this location so well. The new Bali hut offers amazing views, just perfect to read a book and appreciate the tranquility.
