The Proprietor is a very friendly & helpful bloke & helped me find the fireplace ash pan & the tiles I was after. Another workman was friendly & helpful, too. Money grab at best....near new prices, over the top with pricing, ever asked yourself why he has so much such stuff? Just down right cheeky really...observed a pensioner come in and over for a toilet cistern lid....took twenty bucks of him.....we left....just another bottom feeder...

Annoyed , expecting a delivery of 2 windows this afternoon as agreed by Francis on Monday. Got everything together moved cars for access and stayed at home from 12.30 waiting, waiting, waiting ? Rang at 3.45 to enquire as to how much longer only to be told wasn't going to be done today we are doing it on Monday and not worth going out our way (Little River) for $150. When l asked him when were they going to tell me l got oh Steve should have called you. 10 minutes later l got a voicemail from him apologising and had other things to do"his exact words. Poor customer service."

I went in as a scouting mission for a friend in a wheel chair to see if it was wheelchair friendly. For the most part it is, though there are some sections that you just can't get a wheelchair in. The floors are pretty clear and clean, but not totally. The man in the office was not exactly friendly when I asked him about upstairs, as my friend can't get up there and I have a bad hip and the stairs are steep. He told me that it would take all day to tell me what was up there. As I walked away I think he realised how rude he was being to me and lightened up a bit. I told him I would be back and when I showed the photos I took while I was there, we definitely will be. This is a treasure trove of antiques and hidden delights.

We love Francis - he's the best - so many great things to find - we have picked up so many great things for our home - it get the creative juices flowing !

Wow what a place lots of treasure and junk can always find what we are looking for .Windows, doors taps, light fitting and furniture , tools nuts and bolts worth a visit

Huge range of stuff if you have a big budget, but I guess it's a tad cheaper than retail. The man who I assume was the owner helpfully asked if I needed a hand, but I was ok at the time. Later I asked the value of a couple of unpriced items to the staff member who was having a crownie with a mate in the office. I had found the idea of going to the office to talk to these pretty unapproachable guys a bit daunting, but wanted to know. He said he'd make up price, as he wasn't sure. I think he thought of a price and doubled it for one item. I'd come back if I was desperate, but would rather not.

The Geelong Restorers Barn is a treasure trove of all things old and new. I'm so delighted with all of my vintage glass lights and can't wait to see what comes in next!
