Eco Choice Solar

Eco Choice was our 1 & only choice for our solar installation on our new house and we are so glad we chose them. Starting with Brenton advising us from the word go about what we should get and how etc, he was so professional, oh & his pricing. Then with the install his team were fantastic with their quality, tidiness and support. Once working Brenton continued to monitor & support the install and we cannot thank him enough. Very professional. Had Split system air conditioning and Solar panels installed. Great job guys.Looking forward to seeing our power bills. Local is best!....they also clean up their mess!!

got a solar kit installed at my house in november, and am already getting $0 bills from the electricity company, could not recommend going solar anymore.thanks heaps to brenton and the team for a quality installation of a great product!

What a pity to have the opposite 'customer service' (to our last review,) post the installation of a replacement Fujitsu Split system, when it stopped working.The new unit has a safety feature that ensures if the power goes off, any potential surge is mitigated with the Inverter 'turning off',requiring it to be turned off at the power source, for 5 minutes to reset, before being turned back on.We have had major renovation going on for a few months requiring the power to be turned off at times and also experienced Powercor outages due to urgent maintenance.When the unit stopped working I rang Eco Choice for their advice.Reception attempted to assist over the phone but to no avail.Hence, a service call out was initiated.Upon arrival the gentleman went to his 'App' to check the sequencing of the lights to identify the issue and asked 'had the power been turned off recently'?He then informed me that as that was the case, I would need to turn the Inverter off at the wall, wait 5 minutes and turn it back on.Problem solved!Unfortunately, this rather significant piece of information was not provided at installation, nor during the phone call and a week later I received an Invoice for $165 for the call out.The Invoice stated the the client has been informed that if the power goes off again, and the unit stops operation, to repeat those steps.I emailed Brenton indicating that had I been given that information at installation, or over the phone, a service call out would have been unwarranted.I also stated that I thought the amount was excessive, given that a simple question, 'has the power been off recently?' would have resolved the problem; never asked.A new Invoice for $150 was received a week later which I paid.Consumer Affairs indicated that no consumer laws had been broken and that I could follow up with ACC to establish if other clients had similar experiences and provided options for further follow up.The Fujitsu Warranty does not cover such events.My concern is that the 'withholding' of relevant information from the client and forcing a Service call out, is a very questionable practice unlikely to pass any 'Pub test'!Sleep well Eco Choice.

Brenton and the Eco Choice guys were a pleasure to deal with. The initial consultation was informative and resulted in the exactly what I was after, in the right price range.. They were always on time, clean and the level of installation was excellent. Thanks guys hope to use you again.

So happy with our solar system, Brenton and his team were so knowledgeable in advising what system was right for us and so professional throughout the installation, we could not fault them. Our electricity bills have been in credit ever since. Could not be happier and highly recommend to anyone considering a solar system. It will honestly be the best decision you've made.
