Training with Dognity

Alicia came to my house for a private session with my 7 year old Golden Retriever, Wilson who was constantly scavenging food from the 1 and 3 year old. I was not keen to just exclude Wilson from family meal times so I was very happy that training with dognity is so focussed on positive training. I was very happy with their approach  Alicia is probably the most realistic dog trainer I have come across. She didn't just tell us what to do but rather listened to my concerns about what I could achieve with the chaos of two young kids and also used Wilson's previous training experience to come up with an approach that was actually achievable. Just from our first session we have easily implemented Alicia's suggestions into our routines and already noticed some major changes. I think wilson may even have started slimming down a bit! Alicia was prompt in her replies and professional and was happy to work around my schedule. My pup would always bark at other dogs on walks and was overall difficult to walk. Alicia introduced us to some games on our walks and after a couple of sessions he was walking so much better without getting distracted. Happy to recommend this business!

I've recently started having training sessions for my lab retriever, Levi. Levi is a little too eager to befriend all the dogs we pass when we are out on our walks. He often lounges at them, sometimes startling the dog (and its owner). We have also come across some dogs that arent as friendly as he is and we were concerned he may provoke an attack someday.Alicia has been amazing in training him out of this behaviour. I was surprised when Alicia first came out for our lesson at how well Levi listened and learnt from her. I was very happy with her training methods and how calm and kind she was with Levi. She genuinely cares about dogs and is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. 10/10 recommend!
