Dooleys Springsure Tavern & Motel

Rooms and bar staff were great. Do not eat here. Had a off tbone one night and the lunches are horrific to say the least. When we took our food back to the cook( decently no chef) he was very rood and wen we pick our lunch up the next day were told by the Cook our accommodation was going to be revoked

Food came out pretty quick for our group. Nice drinks. We all enjoyed the pub feed, nice and generous portions. My fish and chips were super crunchy and the mushrooms were well seasoned. Chicken Parm was a tad dry. Pretty good experience overall, great little country pub. Clean motel rooms.

Booking staff and Bar/Bottle shop staff don't seem to communicate.Mix ups occur when special requirements are not passed to all concerned. MEAL INVOICING for example

Rooms are basic but did the job. What made our 7 day stay was the staff. All were fantastic. The kitchen staff went above and beyond for me and my daughter, we are vegan. Creating meals to please us. Bravo to them. Would stay again.

We did not stay but had a meal at the pub which was done really nicely, fish and chips and a steak. Lunch specials were $20 and good value.

I was without dinner at 7:20pm on a Saturday night and asked the local policeman what was open as everything seemed to be closed. He directed me to this hotel/motel and their restaurant. I ordered the crispy skin Salmon with salad and chips. The meal was amazing and presented as you would expect from an upmarket city restaurant. I will definitely make this restaurant a must next time I'm in Springsure.

Stopped In for lunch on a Friday on a road trip. Didn't want to leave. Friendly staff great food and beer.

We were a little dubious heading in for dinner having just read the previous reviews but -Food:✅️ great - 250g rump med rare w/ chips, coleslaw & topped w/ garlic prawns. 250g rump well done w/ garlic butter mushrooms & chips✅️ arrived within 15 mins after ordering and cooked exactly as orderedStaff:✅️ excellent w/ great service & very helpfulAccommodation:✅️ room exactly as booked. We knew it is facing town bypass but no trouble✅️ room has minimal eating facilities BUT, you've only got to ask! We requested cutlery & crockery for breakfast meals and were happily supplied.Thank you for a comfortable overnight stay during our travels from Charters Towers to Sunshine Coast!

Great hotel. Would highly recommend. Definitely the best hotel in town.

Tidy and clean functional rooms in the motel but in my view the management should separate tradie bookings from tourist/traveller bookings. This would result in better sleep. The restaurant is run efficiently but the menu is poor on somewhat more healthy choices and the prices are high for what you get.
