Whittlesea Motel

Last night we stayed at the Whittlesea Motel because we were going to a wedding in Kinglake and didn't want to drive home in the dark and possibly hit a kangaroo or a wombat in the dark. It was easy to book a room online (you give credit card details when you book but they don't take the money until after you check in) and easy to check in with a very nice receptionist. We were pleasantly surprised by how big the room and bathroom was and found the bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in- in fact we asked what company they bought the beds from and we are going to check it out! The shower was awesome and there is good internet and also a big TV (which we didn't watch because we got back from the wedding too late) It was very quiet and the aircon worked well (it was a hot day) We also want to thank Amy because we forgot and left our pillows there and had to drive back and get them- she had let the room service woman know and they had them ready for us when we drove back! I would highly recommend this motel.

Rooms are always clean and tidy well presented, Shaza and all the staff are polite and helpful

Nice sized rooms. We stayed 3 nights, 2 tea bags for the whole 3 days and room not serviced on the 2nd day no extra shampoo. Tried to contact management but no one came.We had a really good meal at the pub.

Had to make a sudden trip from Canberra to Melbourne so booked on a Saturday afternoon into the Whittlesea Motel for a stay that night. Received an email confirmation. I emailed them to notify them we wouldn't be arriving until late that night. No reply. I tried calling on our way down (still early). No answer. No voicemail. Arrived to find the reception locked and unattended. No answer on intercom. Note on door says for late arrivals to pick up key from bar or call after hours number. Bar closed. No answer on number. Ended up having to find another motel at midnight.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Whittlesea Motel. I organize the accommodation for our fleet of tradesman in our small business, and the staff were all helpful & accommodating to deal with during the booking process. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean and new. Also, very handy that the pubs within walking distance. Great amenities. Bonus - the rooms were made up every day. Extended my stay from 2 to 3 nights as this motel had everything I needed! Extremely clean, modern and centrally located. Friendly & helpful staff, comfortable bed and hot shower with good pressure. The pub, near by for meals is ideal and it is walking distance to everything in town. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

I’ve never left a google review before. But the team at the hotel were so incredibly kind during my recent stay, I just had to give them a big public thumbs up!

This motel had everything I needed and although I called after 8pm on the night of my stay the lady who took my call was friendly and helpful. I had the best nights sleep - the bed was the best I think I've ever slept on. The room was extremely clean and it's all new and has modern contemporary finish inside. Friendly & helpful staff. My room had it's own small courtyard. Can highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Room was awesome, we had a late checkin and had no issues at all. The water temp in the shower wasn’t great and during winter season it wasn’t that great, other than that we had no complaints.
