Evan's Bistro, Bar and Garden
So excited Evans is open again!! Our first time here after much longing since moving to Romsey. Such a beautiful venue and so glad it’s more a low key casual affair. We came for the re—opening Parma night last night. Omg delicious parmas - had the traditional and Mexican both amazing and loved the shoe string fries. Such a pleasure to be able to enjoy a beer in the beer garden finally! Mozzies we’re rife but aerogard was provided so no probs sitting out there all evening. Would be nice to have some music playing outside though. Staff were all super friendly. Hopefully now post-covid, winter and floods things will get back swinging again in no time. Looking forward to coming back regularly and trying more on the menu.

Absolutely amazing. The grazing platter, popcorn chicken, pork donuts and bruschetta was all so delicious. The sparkling Shiraz was an absolute winner for us! And then to finish with an amazing Panna Cotta. Lovely owners and great sitting outside to eat in the garden. Will definitely be back!

Place was quiet 5 groups total and it took almost 30 minutes just to get drinks( beer and a jug of coke). Food was ok not amazing but faster then the drinksyou Had to order for the table bar code and there was menus on the tablelady at the counter was rude and took no accountability for there the stuff upsThe young bloke Darcy I think he name that delivered our food was fantastic and was the beast part of our experience at EVENS

It’s a shame the guy who manages this place can’t make a go of it, as he’s a lovely bloke and this is such a relaxing space to have a drink and bite to eat.

Great place for a beer / wine in the garden on a summer evening. Funky outdoor beer / wine caravan, great wine and beer choices, chill out background music, attentive staff.We had a few snacks that were great, mains choice felt a touch limited. However, the food was top notch and the locals said they have great specials nights. Drop in, chill out, enjoy, we’ll be back!

Its a fantastic place to go in the town of Romsey. There is a great beer garden where there are plenty of tables with shade umbrellas. The restored caravan is a great idea as a quick way to get drinks. There was christmas singing along with a local choir who did a great job. The food was of a high standard & between two people we spent a little over 50 dollars each which included two main & 3 glasses of wine which is fine given the ambience. The staff were all enthusiastic & friendly. It was a good night out.

Just ordered 2x Mexican parmas with chips and salad takeaway, and it was phenomenal. Even the gluten free one was great. Great value for price and huge meals.
