Sankiri Dog Training
After trying to introduce my new puppy to my 7 year old dog it went Terribly wrong, I tried on loose leads on neautral ground and my 7 year old latched on to the puppy when he heard a dog in the distance bark, nobody/ nor the puppy was hurt but it was terrifying, I called Sankiri and Lorraine came out for 2 sessions in my home and gave me some great lessons on how to use a halter lead on the seven year old and after only 2 sessions he is completely off lead socialising great with our puppy. I am soooo relieved and grateful of the time Lorraine spent with me and our dogs, she showed the older one who was the boss and gave me such valuable advice. It’s important to follow through with what I learned after the lessons. Their training will be ongoing but am confident now to take the older dog to group dog training to continue to socialise both dogs Thank you so much Lorraine, I highly recommend Lorraine to any family having behavioural issues with their dogs.

Our beautiful rescue dog Bella (American bulldog x pitbull) came to us as a very anxious and scared dog. She was difficult to walk because she lunged at anything she perceived to be a threat – other dogs, bikes, scooters. On our first training session her whole body was visibly shaking and she wouldn’t let anyone come near her, especially men.Sankiri training has been fantastic and within a few months, the changes were unbelievable. The halti harness is a game changer – we still walk Bella with the halti as she feels safer with it on. However, she is also good on collar and off-lead at times.Bella is a different dog and enjoys going to training – she now goes up to other dogs and people for a sniff and a pat! Bella’s confidence and trust in us has grown exponentially and training has provided us the tools to work with her anxiety.She now walks calmly beside us and often has a big dopey grin on her face! This training program was the best investment we could have made.Thank you to the wonderful Sankiri team!– James, Kat & Bella

My very stubborn and intelligent dog had my friends with dog knowledge stumped. She knew what I wanted but chose to not do it!So I started training with Lorraine.I now have people complimenting Daisy's behaviour, how well she listens, and how she obeys even off lead.Next year we are travelling Australia together and I am confident that she is ready to face whatever comes our way!Thanks Lorraine and team.

Can't recommend Sankiri training / Lorraine enough. Lorraine helped with our previous dog who suffered from severe anxiety and her ability to read and put in place steps to assist with reducing or removing the side effects of anxiety was extremely beneficial. Lorraine has a way with dogs (and people) and is able to teach dog owners how to get the best out of their relationship with their canine friends. We have recently come back to training at Sankiri with a rehomed beagle and Lorraine is once again working her magic. Highly recommend and also thank Lorraine for her patience and ability to help owners in need.

Sankiri Dog Training
Our 3 year old English Staffy, Ted, had become dog reactive following an attack by another dog. Ted was becoming difficult to walk and as owners, we had become nervous and uncomfortable taking him out in case we passed other dogs.After reading many positive reviews we decided that both Ted and us as his owners would benefit from the training offered by Lorraine and her team.Since beginning with Sankiri, Ted has regained confidence around other dogs and we have been provided with the tools and knowledge to ensure that our own anxieties associated with the attack are not transferred to our dog.Ted loves attending training and seeing all of the friends who he has met.Lorraine’s approach ensures that both owner and dog are learning lessons to benefit their dog’s behaviour. As with any form of learning, you do only get back what you put in, consistency is key. We are now able to take Ted away with us on holidays to caravan parks, something never imagined we’d be able to do.

So impressed with the training and everything Sankiri Dog Training provides. They offer training knowledge that gives you the ability and confidence to set you and your family up for success. We HAD a reactive, anxious GSD that would pull on walks, bark and jump at people, no recall when distracted, etc etc. With hard work and weekly training sessions there's been such a brilliant improvement and so thankful we found Lorraine and her terrific team!
