Absolutely disgusting and disappointing food barely warm cooked in old old oil and reheated tasted old and the pork was on the turn. Prawns were tasteless. Cold soggy deep fry was plain awful. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Eastern Tiger Restaurant Forster
Came for dinner last night with some friends and food was delicious. Pretty good value for $31 all you can eat. Not a huge selection like the buffets we have in Sydney but what was on offer was pretty good. We had a meal at Club Forster and paid way more for a pretty average pub meal.

This is the 3rd time we dine in for lunch !We got there at 12.45 pm picked our table went straight up to start on our selections ! No bread rolls hardly any dishes / sea food ectSo little amount of food in dishes !So at 1.00pm on my second plate I asked if they will bring out fresh food to top up nearly all of the dishes ! But no they said as kitchen ( stops cooking at 1.30pm ) that's all ! But bistro closes at 2pm we take all food away ! But we can stay & sit if we won't to !Sooo much a very big mistake! Hardly an fresh food if ya get there around 1.00 pm soooo disappointed ! As we travelled from portmaquarie ! Where their old huge delicious all you can eat was !Will not take my family 3 adults 2 children AGAIN !

$85 for Christmas lunch. Price was good. However, I have a seafood and fish allergy and advised when I booked and I was assured there would be dishes that were safe for me to eat. There was cross contamination everywhere. People constantly using seafood tongs for non-seafood dishes. There was salmon right beside vegetables with a bay marie with seafood and dessert beside each other. The staff didnt care when I mentioned the situation. I recommend the management to reconsider the buffet situation.

Cold cold cold and iam not talking about the salads I had to get my food heated up in microwave food should be a a certain temperature or this could cause food poisoningI won't be back very disappointing

We ate there tonight and food was limited and never replenished quick enough. There was no squid no prawn toast and no curries or noodle dishes. Fried rice was boiled rice with sparse veggies added. Dessert was very poor and only seafood was prawns that was worth eating. This was overpriced and disgusting food. I would never recommend it. Go to a real chinese restaurant and pretty sure you would get decent food at less cost!

Have been here three times over the span of a few years. The first time (when covid was ongoing) it was great. The food was awesome. Everything tasted fresh. Everything seemed to be stocked up constantly etc.The second time wasn't as good, less food options, food tasted like it had been sitting out for hours (I know buffets have their food out, but this tasted... reheated even) and it wasn't great overall.Went there last week, and it was horrible. Probably the worst dining experience I've had. Utensils were filthy, like they didn't even attempt to wash them. 70% of the food wasn't topped up, and there was just sauce sitting in the bowls. Seemed to be only 3 people doing all the work, rushing around, and the food that we did have (me and 2 other diners, made us sick that night and felt ill the next day).I'd recommend hiring a few more people to work there, so that the current workers aren't forced to rush around 100 miles an hour. Can't say that I'd go back again.

Thank you Eastern Tiger Restaurant for a great dinning experience. The food was amazing with so much variety. The service and staff were so friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere for families.
