The shop was almost closing but we managed to get three portions of fish and chips. I do not remember when we last ate fish as bad as this one. The fish was definitely just defrosted and it tasted like paper. The batter tasted like flour. Chips were horrible. Never again!

Partner ordered over the phone hoping for it to be ready for him at Smoko, he arrived and nothing had been put on, it then took nearly 30 minutes to get his order and when he questioned the lady about it she said I can't make the oil cook any faster"

After leaving Townsville and travelling around the country, I can say this is by far one of the best Fish and chips in Australia, FNQld has the best fish and chips in the country wish out a doubt.

Family dinner thought fish an chips be great, well I was wrong for the amount of I spent to the amount thrown out, avoid potato scallops 8 thrown out potato wasn’t cooked but the batter was burnt. The list could go on, when I was walking out the store some rude lady was like did she pay multiple times which was insulting,

Used to be good..no more.Steak burger was a sloppy mess & fell apart half the burger was gone before I got to the little piece of meat.

Chips and chicken burger where good but not great, all 4 potato scallops not cooked super hard in the middle and the beef burger under cooked and not edible. The Batter was a strange orange colour which is very off putting. For $40+ Unfortunately won't be coming back here again.
