Dear Employees who receive calls,If you cannot provide exceptional customer service with a happy tone being aware that we wait approx.15 min to get to you, do us and VicRoads a favour, Just QUIT!Got a wrong text regarding appointment details, rang up, a staff member said she fixed it, but didn't get any text. Moreover, no apologies for inconvenience and during the conversation I felt like I owe them something.

In trying to book the three tests for my wife who holds an overseas license, here are the issues I encountered:- No dates for Knowledge Test. Booking it is like winning a fastest finger first contest.- Ditto for Hazard Perception coupled with extremely long wait times- Website is a mess. I have spent thirty minutes multiples times trying to find what I wanted with some semblance of confidence and failed- Your store representative told us that your customer service team works on Sat, it does not- More often than not, when you call customer service number, it says the are busy and that's it. No option for call back at all- if you are really stubborn and keep calling, sometimes they do tend to pick up after wait times of 15 odd mins- if you do finally book your test, the appointment confirmation and requirements are not sent on email, just a text. Make it a hell of a task to find it if you don't exactly remember how you correspond. Also, makes it much simpler.to.miss out on what you need to carry since all details are not in one place- results of tests are simply given as a printed paper and not texted or emailed at all. And woe to you, if you happen to misplace the page, since it carries a unique number required to book in the next testThe only reason this 18th century system can continue is because we as consumers do not have a choice. If Vic Roads is serious about customer satisfaction, then the whole licensing and registration system needs a overhaul.

Now that I'm ready to go for my drive test, I can't book into my local office for over 4 weeks!!! This is ridiculous. Especially considering anyone's circumstances who change suddenly, and not having their licence brings a disadvantage and cost to a family, there is no waiting list for last minute cancellations. No help other than you have to call them everyday and hope someone has canceled!!On top of that, if you are to help their clearly congested, disorganised and understaffed drive test system, by taking a cancellation , you still get charged $18 approx extra, for helping them out!!This is ridiculous and no I'm not a teenager just in a hurry to get my licence, this is a family who's circumstances have changed and the licence is needed . Clearly I should have wasted my time and theirs, by booking earlier and changing it if I wasn't ready in time.Millions of dollars and simple system is such a mess, it's ridiculous. There should be a priority line for hardship cases, if they can't get organised. It's designed to make extra money from cancellations is all I can see.Ps feedback has already been given at the site, so don't advise to do that like everyone else here. It doesn't look like much is changing due to these reviews. But I guess that's public departments for you.

Highly inefficient processes make it incredibly difficult to get a simple task done easily. In email received it was also not explicit that instead of being able to check overseas license at customer service centers an appointment needed to be made. The task to book an appointment itself needs to be done through the phone, which is always overloaded but also advises to use the website. If i could i would, save us both the trouble! If information can be provided for booking, why can't it just be done online and make phone lines less congested? And for such a simple task which would probably take a minute, a booking is also required which seems excessive.

Called up to book in my hazards test which is suppose to be simple and quick. However i was on the phone for an hour because the person i spoke to stuffed up the appointment twice. Not only this, we had to pay twice because of his errors. He told us he would put a note there to get a refund however he did not and now we have lost money due to this. Terrible service.

Vic roads do a fantastic job, managing our arterial road network. If you ever get the opportunity to participate in a brief concise and welcoming tour to their facility in Kew, take it!!

This is an organisation of thieves. I waited over 20 minutes on hold to then be told I need to pay a $20 fee to be able to see my driving record. In other states of Australia, you can have this for free! I understand that for an official and certified copy that there would be a fee. Yet they won't even let you view it online, why? So they can force you to pay $20 to only then be emailed a pdf document!Even if you explain that you only need this information for volunteering purposes like feeding the homeless, you still need to pay. Also wait times and cost are also ludicrous, for the ridiculous appointment system they have in place. Again, in other states all this can be sone for free and on the spot.Shame on you vicroads.

Unhelpful, no customer service, no option between hard copy, just digital receipt. No follow up, no service interaction.Everything that is bad about Victorian public service is this department. No service, no public interaction just money collection and definitely not in the interest of the tax paying citizen.
