Grindstone Barbers

This is a review for Alex. My husband is a barber so he knows what to look for when getting a good cut himself, making him VERY picky! But he came home with a cut done by your barber Alex and he was SO happy with the flawless work he had done not only cutting but styling at the end. If you want to see a barber that barbers themselves prefer to see, Alex is definitely your guy. My husband will be back after the perfect fade he was given. Also my husband says he's a really outgoing guy that makes you feel comfortable from the minute you sit down, so no awkward silences if you're chatty or uncomfortable small talk if you're more of a quiet person. Thank you Alex for helping my pedantic husband 100% happy with a cut. I didn't think it was possible. Haha.

I’ve been attending here over the last 2 years. Hands down the best barber in the south east. Ive been to many barbers looking specifically for them to manage my beard and all have ended horribly wrong. Preet has been the best by far with how he’s managed and maintained the shape and growth. Can’t recommend them highly enough if you need a proper beard trim. My kids also attend here for their fades and they’re honestly so good with them and they’re cuts are amazing.

Been to grindstone 3 times now, twice with Chey and once with Preet and I can’t complain, Preets Customer service and enthusiasm for customers on arrival is unreal, always offered a water or a beer. Would 100% reccomend

Little pricey for kids cuts, but Preet keeps us coming back again and again. He takes his time with both my boys and provides excellent cuts and a great experience where they have his full attention for the whole time he cuts their hair.

Fantastic shop, wouldn’t get my hair cut anywhere else in the South East. Alex is a one of a kind barber - very keen attention to detail and genuinely cares about each client and rendering the best service. The owner Preet is also an all-round good bloke. Just a great atmosphere!
