My little girl has been attending her classes for quite some time now, and I couldn't be more impressed with the positive impact Leanne has had on her dance journey. With passion, patience, and expertise, Leanne creates a nurturing environment where my daughter feels valued and inspired. Miss Leanne's expertise shines through her ability to break down complex movements into digestible steps, ensuring that all dancers can grasp and enjoy the art of dance. Seeing my daughter's love for dance flourish under the guidance of Leanne brings me immeasurable joy. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any parent seeking a talented, caring, and inspiring dance teacher for their child.

Don’t go here. As soon as your child turns into a teenager the owner/dance teacher thinks it’s okay to swear at them and comment on their body. It becomes extremely derogatory with lasting effects on their mental health. Find somewhere more professional for your child.

After years of searching for a local dance school that could offer true hip hop and street dance, we were super happy to discover Brookvale Dance Centre! Miss Mel and her team provide a fun and caring environment to learn different types of street dances and the broader hip hop culture, including holiday workshops to learn elements of hip hop culture, workshops with international guest speakers and opportunities to perform and compete outside of BDC. The confidence gained from her BDC experiences has helped our daughter gain courage to do public speaking, apply for leadership roles at school and develop a positive sense of identity as she transitioned from primary to high school. The concerts are impressive! Red carpet experience, screening in Hoyts during COVID times and a great on site production. Highly recommended!

My daughter had her 6th Birthday party at Brookvale dance centre in september and when i asked her what she thought of her party (even though the beaming smile said it all) she replied saying it was “absolutely incredible, sus didnt want the day to end”Leanne did an awesome job keeping all the kids engaged and entertained. We had a mixture of both girls and boys and it was great for both. They all found it super cool.We would highly recommend holding a party at BDC.Thank you again

An amazing and professional dance company. Both my son and I attend the classes here. The adult dance classes are very varied including hip hop, house and lyrical and the teachers are phenomenal. Great choreography and music. If you love to dance, this is the place for you!

My daughter has finally found her people and a dance school that offers real hip hop/ street dancing. Mel and her team offer a wide range of unique classes and extra special events. One of our highlights was filming the performances with special effects and showing them to fiends and family at Hoyts theater(eoth a red carpet). Mel is a true artist and it shows in her productions she goes above and beyond!!!

My daughter has been doing hip hop at Brookvale Dance for 6 months, every time we go to a class she is excited! Thank you, Mel and Chris, both amazing teachers who keep kids so engaged and interested! Mel is also a director of the school, very responsive and always going an extra mile. We have attended many dance schools on the northern beaches and this is the best dance school! My child is happy and so am I!

Leanne put on a fantastic party for our daughters and catered perfectly for the mixed age range of children (4-7). She provided a great variety of party games with a short break to eat then back for the exciting glow disco! The structure worked really well using both rooms and the extras such as prize bags and glow sticks were such a hit! Not having to decorate or tidy up was also a bonus as they did this all for us. Thank you so much for a great and memorable afternoon!

Finally an affordable multi style dance school in the Northern Beaches! Their unlimited class option means my kids can try out different dance styles 5 days a week without breaking the bank. Leanne is a local Mum & amazing dance teacher who just gets kids. We love the theatre, hip hop & tap classes.

Great place for celebrating kids birthdays! I had my child’s 7th birthday there for 19 kids and it was very cool: good engaging variety of games, glowing room, dancing, separate food room, great communication, also - only one party at a time. Leanne and team put an effort to ensure party runs smoothly so I definitely recommend Brookvale Dance Centre! Thanks team!
