Visited The Glen store on Saturday 12th Feb around 4pm, noticed untidy store with clothes left on some racks - no one was getting actual service from the staff member. Without any greeting, this staff member approached and said “don’t dump clothes on the racks…” in a very rude tone. When we tried to explain to her I didn’t leave that item there and instead had just replaced a similar one she said “two wrongs don’t make a right…”. and stomped off.What wrong did I commit exactly? Asking her to clarify lead to her refusing service, asking me rudely to leave items and store, and threats of calling security straightaway. She refused to give us her name but told us she was incharge, and to call whoever to get her fired.Security came and apologised to us for wasting our time, told me the staff member said nothing about clothing but “customers entered store, verbally abusing me, refusing to leave the store, come now”. it seems like this store staff members has these outbursts (see other reviews mentioning the same clothes on rack/hanger issues…). Security suggested me some other stores, gave us a card for the centre management to make a formal complaint (which we will).No wonder the glen store is the WORST reviewed with only 2 stars! ally management should look into why, and maybe train their staff in basic customer service and making use of security resources wisely!

Today, I received the worst customer service experience at this store. I wish I had read these comments earlier. I don't think Ally has tried to train its staff with good customer service as I can see some other reviewers has had exact same disappointing experience that I had today. This staff member was clearly impolite, unprofessional and rude. I will never hire her or neither recommend anyone to hire her as she clearly is not a good fit for any job that requires to be professional, polite and needs basic customer service. She can clearly destroy the image of a business easily. Ally, rather than just replying with your comments here , you should actually get your management to address the issue. This staff member clearly needs some help and you don't seem to have taken care of training needs or perhaps mental health issues of your staff seriously. Her rude attitude and disrespectful gestures and words is not appropriate and signals big issues. Ally, It's not always the profit but how you manage people whether its customers or staff. Train your staff to treat your customers with respect and dignity please.

Visited on Sunday 3rd July 2022 to purchase a few things as a gift, the store assistant's initials KD found on the receipt, had a terrible, disrespectful and unprofessional attitude, I found the whole experience after purchase and in dealing with return/exchange policies so disgusting, its been the worst I've ever come across. Of note:1. No greeting, No assistance when asking for sizes2. when asking for assistance, she on purposely treated me with difficulty, until a nearby customer clarified what I was asking for, this made me feel disrespected in that if others could understand me perfectly well, was this purposely targeting me due to my appearance.3. after purchase of the item, the security tag was still on the clothing! I had to come back to the shop to ask her to remove it, and she accused me of 'not paying for it', this was proven wrong when I showed the receipt, however, she threw her hands and the clothes on the counter and removed the tag aggressively.4. when we returned to the store to exchange for a different colour of the same item, she brought up the earlier incident of me 'not paying for the clothes' and she instantly changed her demeanor toward me. She was very standoffish and refused a simple exchange, when I had the receipt on hand, and refused to hold the item aside for me to come back another day. Threatened to call the central security the moment we disputed the right to exchange. We had made a reasonable request to exchange the item.5. we asked to speak to the store manager, of which she blatantly advised she was the store manager and that we could only speak to her. This is definitely false, and the caliber of her service does not reflect this.Overall this staff member gave me the view that she does not care at all, has no sense of customer goodwill and service, disrespectful attitude and avoids all inconveniences throughout her day. Such terrible attitude in this diverse town, I wonder if this is how she treats all customers that come in the store. I'd rather drive to another store to avoid this staff member. I await their response.

This story is very disorganised, understaffed and unfriendly. The staff are not up to date with store policy regarding returns. I had to drive from the glen store to chadstone just to return a dress because The Glen staff would not do it for me, even though I was allowed to return it. The new policy is that if you return a full priced item (including on promotion) within 45 days of the store opening post covid, you can get a refund. The glen staff told me different information and told me my dress was a clearance item, hence could not even give me a store credit or exchange. Whereas in reality, my dress was a few dollars off due to promotion, and I was actually allowed a refund. Please train your staff properly. Chadstone staff, on the other hand, were very kind and processed the refund for me without issue. This was a whole lot of trouble and time just to return a dress that didn't fit, had tags on, and I had my receipt. It was a horrible experience and I won't be returning to the glen store again.

We used to buy clothes from this store for aeveral times. But today when we went to buy some clothes the sales girls were really mean to us. Our little one was running arround the store and the sales girls were realy rude to him. But we did not care about that. But at the time of going to buy the clothes they asked about a hanger which my wife left in the fitting room. This is the first time we experinced a situation like that. Then complained us some damaged happenned to the safety sponge arround the hanger and we actually disapointed about that. Because that was really minor thing. They were complaining our little one about that damage . We have never experinced this type of bad customer service from any other clothing shops. This is really pathetic. We never recomend this type of sales staff for customer service. Rediculus situation. Never recomend for anyone.They are really unrespective. rude.date of shopping 14.07.2022 at 8.35 pm

I am not reviewing Ally but the sale staff working on Thursday night at Glen store, so rude that I couldn’t even believe. I asked her to check the price on some item which she did and asked me to put it back on hanger if I don’t want to buy and I said no worries , which infact she didn’t hear and when I was getting the hanger she told my daughter that I am rude. So once I put the item back in hanger , I went to her and said that I was not rude and I did say no worries and went to get hanger from changing room . On top of that she started shouting on me and wanted to get the security. I want to escalate this to her manager as I work in retail for last 10 yrs and never seen a behaviour like that if she does not want to work there as she said it is above my pay grade she should not be working there.

I am reviewing the sale staff working at Ally Glen store. I went to the store today and after use fitting room, 1 staff member came after me and asked about the hanger. When I told that I put it on the rack they said no and kept asking. Finally they found the hanger on the rack. So disappointing. And that rude sale woman told me to don’t put cloths on the rack and put it on the hanger. So rude, this is the first time in my life that sale staff asked me to put cloths back on the hanger, but I’ve heard they (Ally staff Glen) kept asking customers to bring hangers with cloths, when I’m shopping at Ally Glen store in other days. It’s good if they have a proper training in CUSTOMER SERVICE and have a good understanding about THEIR JOB.
