In the main street of Stanthorpe, Zest Pastries was a lovely find for wonderful pies, pasties and pastries with a great coffee. Be early for lunch as sometimes closes at 2.00pm.

Beef, cheese & jalapeños pie might just be the best pie I have ever had.Everything else here is not far behind (and we went back three times to try other things based on the pies). I literally don’t think you could go wrong with anything from Zest.

Great pastry shop I visited today. Went looking for a pie and tried the basic plain beef pie. This pie was good, the pastry was buttery but a bit too flaky for my liking. Staff were great and service was very good.

We stopped to get a takeaway treat for later in the day. We waited at the cake cabinet to select what we wanted. The ladies behind the counter seemed to ignore us and continued to serve other people who walked in after us. She went to serve yet again, more new comers so I spoke up and said excuse me no one has served us yet and we have waited our turn"

A most go! If you’re after a delicious pastry, stop there for a treat. You also can order some breakfast at a very good price and you’ll find a salad and a variety of freshly made sandwiches in their cabinet.

Tried their Pie (Angus beef, mushroom, and cheese/jalapeno), Brownies, and Almond Croissant today. Too good!! Too bad we missed their opening time on Su day and Monday, otherwise would have come here every morning for breakfast! Reasonably priced too!

As a lover of tarts, I was so excited to get the opportunity to enjoy some of the offerings at Zest Pastries. There are quite a few choices, but being a custard tart fan and loving any sort of berry, I was happy to go with the mixed berry custard tart. There was plenty of room to stay and enjoy our selection accompanied by a coffee, we also went for a couple of baked custard tarts to go.The staff are very friendly and there is certainly a wide selection of goods. The shop has a great feel, as a lot of locals are greeted by the first name as they come in.It is a little different and well worth a visit.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Likely one of the top 3 bakeries I’ve ever been too. Everything is just fantastic. Today I had a sausage roll with light, crispy, buttery pastry and a delicious herby sausage filling.I also bought an almond croissant that was like caramel. It’s hard to explain the chewy, fluffy, crunchy delicious experience but uhhh just wow.The atmosphere and service is just right and if I lived in Stanthorpe I’d be blowing half my pay cheque every week here. Amazing.

Nice cafe that produces a variety of pastries, sandwiches and other baked goods. There are a variety of sweet pastries and tarts available, as well as a selection of beef cheek pies that are very delicious. The pastry on the pies is done perfectly. I also had the opportunity to try one of their brownie sliced which was also very tasty. It was also not too sweet. The layout of the cafe is nice and airy with both ample indoor seating as well as some tables out the front of the cafe. Prices are around $5+ for anything pastry related and about your regular $4-$7 for coffees and other drinks.
