My account was fraudulantly accessed on amazon, and I was left with a $600+ debt in february. I habe rang and emailed amazon Aust so many times, onli to be told the message each time that account is under investigation with account specialist and i will be contacted within 24 hrs. Now almost 5 months later, nothing has been done, amazon never call back and refuse to put me in contact with managment to resolve this, my account is unsafe and i can not close untill my money has been returned. About to start legal action if no reponse in next 24hrs. I would Not recomend Amazon Australia to anyone, this has caused me months of stress and debt. Customer service just read if the same response everytime I call to follow up, and will not let you contact Account Specialist/Fraud team, saiing they do not have the number.No support for Customers when there are any account issues, terrible!

They put my account to holding because I place a order myself and then for any reason they did that to me that’s fine but I’ve contact them 2days and try to fix in my end to upload the personal detail at the login website page. Guess what they send me the automatic email to my email address said they can’t verify my document (which is the physic master card with same last 4number that they requested me to taking photo of it) so I call them up5-6 times to solve this problem because the system will automatically cancel my order in72 hours ! I did tell them what I write above but unit now they haven’t fix my problem ! First time buying thing in amazon and will be last time waste my time and money. I can’t get my order before Christmas ! What a wonderful Christmas preparing method that amazon provide to me. Thanks for this great customer service experience !

Frankly a bit of an annoying company that when you use there Amazon shopping service that cleverly enrol you into prime service(that you don't want) that is unusable btw, and have there automated agent call you every month with annoying calls they are renewing your service. Even though deleted ,removed payments an cancelled. Been going on for months

It is not possible to call Amazon AU seller support. When you lodge a ticket, it appears that responses are drafted from templates from non-English speaking users. These template response contain no value for troubleshooting, technical or account support. Their seller support is without a doubt the worst business to work with in Australia. Amazon seller customer support is without a doubt worse than government support.

Appalling customer service. Account locked for unusual activity" (despite no purchases!). Unable to verify an old expired credit card. Call centre offshore and unable to do anything to resolve this issue. Unable to email Amzon. Unable to use my Prime subscription for weeks! Amazon happy to report it's profits

I was unable to contact Amazon Australia for help with a purchase so I contacted Amazon US. They agreed with me as they too tried to contact Amazon Australia on the phone numbers they provided me and so refunded my money. I purchase through the Amazon US store now because you can phone them and talk to someone. Amazon Australia wont even give you a phone number and the one Amazon US provided me they won’t answer. I wonder if the Amazon parent company in the US has any idea about whats happening with Amazon Australia.
