We are tourists in Australia, staying for almost two weeks. Today is our last night in Sydney and this was the best meal we had during our entire trip. Kudos to our server as well.Highly recommend their Cumin BBQ and Wanton Dumpling Soup.

One of new eateries at Mascot area near the train station; The place looks great; I have not tried the BBQ food but so far the lunch menus is pretty goodHave tried some of the skewers, the lamb and beef were quite thought while chicken is pretty good

The food is so tasty! Just a bit too spicy for some dishes but still great. Little bit deceiving with the barbecue sign on the window although as my friend pointed out they do a lot of barbecue in the kitchen to avoid the smoke. It’s a different style of BBQ making famous in Asian culture still very tasty food. Bench seats are little bit ordinary but all in all good food but be careful quite spicy at times and amount could be too much each dish. Quite enjoy will come again.

I guess the boss should be glad that I can‘t give negative scores in google map. Half an hour after ordering, the waiter realized that there was something missing, but did not do anything about it properly. We were told that the food we wanted was sold out only after we asked, and most importantly, we didn't offer any apologies at all. Overall this is a disgusting dining experience, Western Legend BBQ is the worst restaurant in Sydney.

The restaurant is comfortable, looks clean and service is ok. Went at lunch time and we were the only table there. The food is avg. There is a fake gimmicky hotplate which you don't get to cook on. And it's powered by 2 tealights, so it doesn't even keep the food warm. The skewers are all covered in cumin and start to taste all the same after a while. And come out deep fried and quite dry. Was disappointing they weren't grilled over goal. The internal organ ones are terrible. But the other ones r ok. Not great tasting. The salads r super spicey.Wasn't overly cheap either for the amount of food. Overall a badly executed concept and would be heaps more fun and better if customers got to cook their own over charcoal grills.

Ordered a take away. While the taste was not bad but the price was more expensive than other places and the portion was not bigger either. I had to wait for more than 20 minutes even though there was only one customer dining in. The service was not great either. Now I know why the place is not as crowded as the other nearby eateries.

Garlic chive is very tough… But flavor is great. Pig kidney is very tough and lacks flavor. I highly recommend beef tendon which is very tender and sticky. Chicken skeleton is also great. Beef wrapped enoki and octopus tentacles are a must have. Lamb skewer is ok, could be more charred. I think they have the best seasoning among Chinese bbq places around Sydney. Only downside is the high price. This is street-food in China but certainly no street-food price here…

Nice restaurant which opens late, with plenty of seating and dining options. It’s on the expensive side (around $50pp for a group of 4) but we found the skewers tasty, the service efficient and the location convenient. The only downside was that the BBQ is all cooked in the kitchen, with a platter to keep it warm on your table, so not a real BBQ experience. Personally I liked not having to cook it myself. Staff were helpful if we had to ask them anything
