A great visitor centre with a lovely shop and adjoining cafe. Lovely fresh food.Rob Masters is a gentleman and the team here work hard to welcome customers.A new attraction is the Clock tower providing a town clock driven by a mechanism made solely of wood. This unique and amazing giant time piece was hand made by the wonderfully intelligent and knowledgeable Kevin Bird whom I was privileged to meet and chat to about all things wood, trees, time and the ships using time pieces in days gone by.

Great gift shop that isn't full of the usual tat (imo). Quite a lot of local artist representation and some interesting book choices. Friendly & welcoming staff. Understanding as well given my kids had a protracted disagreement over which fridge magnet to buy at the counter.Kids, the light in your life... probably why there is a brewery/distillery just up the road.
