Good spot to base yourself to lelax and explore the area. Free camp, 2 week stay limit. Water and dump point not to far away

We stayed at the big 4 holiday park beside the lake and we went each day to do something different at the lake. You can just go for a stroll along the lake. You can enjoy the sunset from another setting at the lake. You can feed the local wildlife and chill out. People were camping at the lake but I never found out how permits were acquired to do so. The trees in the lake at sunset make the lake come to life. I love our time at the lake.

Beautiful spot for camping and fishing. Lots of birdlife and nature to appreciate. Very well maintained but need to be self sufficient. Close to town and amenities.

Great area on Lake Mulwala. Downside is no toilets. Cycle/walk trail to town. Large area for vans in different spots.

Best sunsets here. Windy on the town side of lake but calm as anything on this side.Town is a 5 minute drive where you can have a shower, get water and throw rubbish out.Lots and lots of birds a d crickets to enjoy

Lake Mulwala - Kyffins Reserve
So happy to stay here OzDay long weekend so spacious, peaceful & beautiful. We have a large outdoor Mat so the dirt didn't bother us and we found a very level spot - waterfront. So happy we couldn't get into the parks in town or we would of missed out on this awesome spot. Please take your garbage away with you to keep area beautiful.
