Sanctuary Thai Massage & day spa

Came to get a one hour massage for $55pp and she proceeded to try to get me to buy a different deal ranging around $90+ I told them no then they said do you want a different oil or you just get baby oil then I paid extra for that? Then she began the massage and wasted 10 minutes just rubbing oil on my body, NO PRESSURE AT ALL. I asked her is this was the massage she said this is the relaxation one

I was very disappointed leaving, it was definitely not a deep tissue massage and i believe the girl was very inexperienced in giving massages full stop.staff were polite and rooms were clean, i would think twice before was to head back for another.

Really great service and relaxing massage or deep tissue if you want it. I have had a massage from two different people here and both were equally good. Thank you

Worst massage experience I've ever had. The masseuse was incredibly inexperienced. She had no idea what she was doing. She put so much oil on my back (much more than necessary) I was dripping. She also had me take off my underwear for the massage which made me feel very uncomfortable. Also her nails were too long which was painful. I don't blame her so much as her employers, they shouldn't be employing masseuses who don't know what they're doing. The beds also aren't wide enough for your arms to lie comfortably so they dangle off the table awkwardly. I regularly get Thai massages and this was just shocking. I would never go here again and I wish I hadn't. $95 for the worst 1 hour massage of my life.

I have been to Sanctuary twice now. ( I have a long term muscle damage from an Armoured Vehicle accident many years ago) The first remedial massage by a very skilled Thai lady (sorry I forget her name) she applied the right pressure and relieved my lower back pain and released pain from some leg cramping - seriously 5 stars - I went back last Friday and had another massage therapist called Rita - she was certainly just as good and very skilled as well - she showed the stiffness in my lower back was partially caused by my leg muscle pulling down - I walked outta there like a young man!! (haha) this place is one of the two best in Geelong and the two therapist I have had there are at the gold statndard I give them 99% and I will go back there when next in town

The massage was ok at times, but not enough to forget the uncomfortable bed, cold towels and room. Can't recommend when it costs the same as the premium Thai massages available elsewhere.

Great experience! The Thai message is amazing. Price is also fair. You can choose whichever service you want at the counter. Thai message for 60 minutes is also available. The music is calming and I can feel my eye lids becoming heavier and heavier and nearly went to sleep haha. I got a wound on my arm and she took care of not pressing there, really well. Very enjoyable overall.

OMG ! Defined the best massage shop in Geelong , I have been here 4 times , every time I could enjoyed my massage a lot , staffs here are well trained . keep up girls

AVOID AT ALL COST! Worst massage I have ever had. Left half way through which says it all. The place was grotty, the towels oily and dirty, and the masseuse had obviously never given a massage in her life.

Right from the moment I walked in the masseuse was trying to convince me I needed an hour of the most expensive type of massage, I’m so glad I didn’t because even 45 minutes with her was a waste of time, she did the same pointless movement down my back over and over again which I could barely feel and it became very clear that it was a time filler. When I asked if she could focus more on my upper back, she then dug her fingers into the same spot for the rest of the time. She wiped the oil off way too early and then obviously realised she had time left to fill so she sat me up and patted my back for a good 5 minutes until I told her I’d had enough. Really disappointing massage.
