Bum station don’t go

Small station one up from Hornsby. It is mainly used by students from Asquith Boys and Asquith Girls High Schools, although recent unit development in the area has increased its popularity as a commuter station. Located directly opposite the smallish shopping centre along the Pacific Highway. Parking is limited with a small commuter car park - you can try to find a spot in nearby streets or drive to Hornsby for a larger carpark.

When I think of the great stations of the world, Asquith is not amongst them. Nor is it one of the great stations of Sydney. Fortunately it has nearby high schools which means it gets a few extra express trains stopping during morning and early afternoon peaks rather than the two mount stations to the north. On the weekends the inadequacies of the station are laid bare when there are at best two trains an hour. Parking is fair - a new car park opened to the south west of the station, unfortunately this is a 10 minute walk from the city bound platform due to the only access across the tracks being provided by a road overpass some distance to the north of the platforms, with a single platform access point located centrally.Little undercover shelter on the platform.

It's fine except for the fact that there's no concourse and you have to leave the station then come back in on the other side

A pretty average station with decent services to Hornsby

Small Railway station with two platforms and no other amenities and if u need to cross from platform 1 to 2 then you need to come around .No footbridge

Stewart and Craig are fantastic attendants, couldn't ask for better people to help make the station a useful and as easy to use place. I'd give ten stars, five each if I could!

Decent station overall in terms of look but not enough trains.
