DO NOT support a venue that rips off its local community. This Venue does not pay their entertainment. After countless emails/phone calls and invoices sent, lying on the phone saying you will pay it and not receiving any money at all i have come to the conclusions that these guys are just hear to rip off local small businesses. Very disappointing for a venue that claims to be “a major supporters of some of the best entertainment talent in Newcastle”. Oceanview Hotel Dudley has the wrong idea on how to do business, for sure. FYI invoice was for 22/12/17. if you decide to change your mind. Please sort this out ASAP.

Very small pub. Older style. Outside seating unfortunately had no views. Only of the car park. Due to covid bistro was closed for lunch but I was offered two choices of toasted sandwich. I got a pastrami cheese and mustard one . It was nice. Probably a local pub not really something for you if you're looking for views style or atmosphere .

A local pub for locals short distance from the beach situated on a corner across from another hotel on a corner. Food and live entertainment available Saturday night. I had rissoles salad and chips tasted good didnt have to wait too long. However, would night return on a Saturday night as for me it was way too crowded and noisey, couldnt get anywhere near the band or dance floor area and i had to sit outdoors in the cold. Way too cramped for me.

Terrible pub. One of my young DJs was booked here for a gig in December and they refuse to pay the invoice. Very poor form.

It has that great old fashioned pub feeling. Has brilliant staff. Wonderful food.
