AllTrails Bicycle Tours

Just finished a custom tour of the Great Ocean Road , 8 cyclist , 6 flew over from Ireland and joined 2 Australian friends - we had a fantastic time. From initial inquiries to our time on the road and our safe arrival in Melbourne - All Trails were just on the ball 24/7 - a fantastic organistauon . Can't wait to return to do it all over again. The Tasmania Loop Cycle Tour have been one epic journey! We explored almost all of Tasmania in 22 days, pedalling a total distance of 1315km and a 15,220m of elevation gain, i.e. 15.2km!It really was a magnificent journey. Some days are really tough especially after being on the road for 2.5 weeks, the whole body was just beyond sore.There are so many highlights! The most picturesque for me would be day 14 – riding from Lake St Clair to Queenstown was breathtakingly beautiful. And riding to Freycinet was also stunning! The most peaceful and calm day would be day 20 – riding from Devonport to Deloraine through the countryside as there were not many cars/trucks passing through! And don’t forget the great food and drinks throughout the tour – All Trails have been feeding us really well!I really want to give a huge thanks to the All Trails crew (Richard, Lou and JB) for their amazing support, encouragement, patience and dedication to make this tour highly enjoyable despite its challenges. The tour wouldn’t be possible and as cohesive as it was without their tireless work! A very special thanks and shoutout to Richard for cleaning up my wounds and tending to my injuries after I fell off my bike.Another factor that made this tour so enjoyable was the group! The group has been so wonderful! It’s the most caring, friendly, fun and encouraging bunch of people that I’ve been with. We soon became familiar with one another and all of us seem to get along very well right from the start.Thanks very much All Trails! The Tasmania Loop Cycle Tour is highly recommended for anyone who loves adventures, beautiful views and some challenges.

Simply awesome! Travelling interstate, you really want to know that everything is planned and the whole set up by AllTrails was seamless. The level of guidance and support for each step, where to meet, when, what to expect, how to prepare was excellent.To the support team along the way, each day is nicely outlined the evening before, the various stops for refuelling, directions and highlighted points of interest are all very clear. Great stopover locations and accommodation, good food and lovely to have the company of a group of riders all there for the same outstanding experience. Highly recommended!

My first experience with AllTrails was the Great Victorian Bike Ride. It was a wonderful journey. With AllTrails, all you had to do was ride your bike … or that’s the way it seemed. Everything else just appeared to happen!

The 6 day slow Great Ocean Road tour 9-14 March 2021 exceeded my expectations in every way!The cycling was exceptional - dramatic scenery the entire trip, at a manageable but satisfying pace, with little traffic due to COVID international travel restrictions. The weather was on our side, but contingencies were in place had that not been the case. The nightly briefings and route management by the tour staff ensured a problem free and safe ride each day.The organisation of the trip, both pre-planning and during the tour was impeccable - everything happened like clockwork and every need and desire was anticipated and met. This truly has hassle free cycle touring at its best!The group of 7 was a mix of interesting and friendly, like-minded individuals - I suspect that this type of travel attracts birds of feather. I was the least experienced road cyclist, but received ample support, guidance and encouragement from the tour leaders and participants.The food and accommodation was of a high standard and good value.All non-cycling activities were interesting and unique.Thank you Richard and Lou for a wonderful week - a great mix of comfort and adventure, good company, exhilarating cycling and reliable and professional tour organisation. This was the first of many AllTrails cycle tours in my future.

Yes, well above and beyond expectations! Did the Great Ocean Road, 4 days 3 nights, arrived in Melbourne Sunday afternoon after 367km or so. Alltrails are great hosts and the group of guests (18) were great company all along the way. Hotels, stunning sights all very well selected. I hadn't realised we would get so much support and guidance (good briefings, maps and sign posting on the actual route means you barely need to navigate for yourself, and most of the time you're following each other anyway, as we were all of similar fitness and ability). BUT - I had a particularly nasty mechanical failure, (despite new wheels and a fresh service, and a well packed hard shell bike bag, packed by my bike shop). Well, the help and mechanical support from Doug and the team was priceless and what they did to help get me back on the road was beyond what I could have ever hoped and it prevented my experience being a complete disaster.( Thank you also Jo/Richard! You are truly Deus Ex Machina) . We all made it safe and sound and very happy to Melbourne.As for the experience to expect, I also agree with EVERY WORD of the review by Gillian Coleman" so I suggest you just read that.Thank you Alltrails again

I joined AllTrails for the NZ South Island tour which was in one word simply 'epic'! Richard and his team have everything well planned, are super customer friendly and always willing to help. Not only during, but also prior and after the tour. Can highly recommend joining a trip with them! Even if you have to travel half the world from the Netherlands :)

We did the Great Ocean Walk (GOW), 100+ km over 7 days.Richard & Doug from AllTrails & the rest of the group were great company. Logistics, accommodation, meals, massages were all top-notch & professional. There’s time each day to relax & do your own thing.The iconic GOW is a must-do spectacular trail. We saw plenty of wildlife, birds, varied terrain and landscapes. Got up close with a koala on the trail. The sun lit up the 12 Apostles coast and the turquoise ocean beautifully.Richard went beyond expectation, taking those that wanted on a guided road tour of more limestone coast features.From what I saw, Alltrails would be equally great supporting a cycle tour as well.Highly recommended Don

So impressed with the helpfulness, degree of organisation and attention to detail on our first tour with AllTrails that we went on another. Despite our circumstances creating some complications, they managed brilliantly. We'll be back for more!
