From start to finish the experience was excellent. This is humble, rustic Italian cuisine amongst the beauty of Red Hill. A really special moment were the zeppole at the start, as they were a childhood favourite from my nonnas kitchen. The hapuka was definitely my favourite dish and the starters were a wonderful selection. My partner has allergies and he was well catered for. Service was excellent, albeit a little slow but you’re supposed to sit and enjoy a long lunch. Don’t come if you’re expecting a quick meal, as you need the time to take it all in.

Incredible! Such an amazing venue with very friendly and knowledgable staff. The food and wine was just smashing. Everything was of the highest quality without any form of pretentiousness. It's hard to recall a better lunch. Bravo team!

Lovely venue with a nice atmosphere. However, food was very underwhelming given the price. Basic wine bar food for $185 a head is very disappointing. Quite a few dishes were served near on cold. Dessert was literally just an undercooked version of a Portuguese tart that you'd be disappointed from a bakery let alone a restaurant of Tadesca's reputation. For a restaurant focused on produce and doing simple" cuisine none of the produced was explained or highlighted. An extensive and impressive wine list with some amazing rare bottles but the bottle we had can be found at equivalent restaurants for $100 less. I've heard that the experience can be exception one day and disappointing the next but unfortunately ours was the latter."

We had a fabulous lunch here today. The food was amazing with plenty of dishes and staff were super friendly. It is one of those places where you feel like you are having 5 star meals but in a homely environment. Highly recommended!

A stunning venue with a great philosophy. The open kitchen showcases the woodfire and imparts a rustic atmosphere. The staff are attentive and lovely. The house spritz was herbaceous and refreshing. Each dish was beautifully presented, and I enjoyed the little explanations when each dish was brought to the table about where the produce was sourced. The only reason I can't give 5 stars all around, was the timing between courses. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes between our mid course (tuna) and our main course (lamb). The previous courses were coming out at a more reasonable pace prior to this (when we finished a course, they would bring the next course about 10 minutes later). I understand the whole long lunch vibe, but in my opinion, that's far too long to wait between courses, and while the food was delicious, my enjoyment was diminished because of that wait. However, I'm not sure if this was just a one-off issue on the day we went. Other than this, we had a lovely and memorable experience, and would definitely recommend this restaurant as must visit.

Fantastic fusion dishes (Italian x Morocco) in a great setting, perfect service. Super wine list - take a trip to the cellar if you're up for it. Worth the wait to get a seat.
