Portside Whitsunday Apartments

The owners/managers were the most lovely, accommodating people i have ever met! Super friendly and helped us out with so many extra things that they didn’t need to. 1000/10 for service! Our apartment was super spacious fit with everything you could ask for! The view is spectacular and it’s close to all of the shops. Amazing experience and would definitely come back in a heartbeat! Thanks for the wonderful stay :)

The following isn’t a reflection of the operators as they are lovely people and very welcoming, just providing clarity for future guests.- unlike the pictures show, there isn’t a spa or onsite massage facility- “helping with babysitting services” as the website says, is them simply referring you to google- the apartments are not serviced during your stay- there is a steep incline to enter with stairs to get to each room, definitely not pram friendly (no lifts)- didn’t see any other amenities other than a small shared bbq and pool to label it “luxury” (definitely no room service or gym)

Stayed for 3 nights in one bedroom apartment 7B including balcony and parking. We arrived after reception hours & the owners had left our key & instructions for us. We missed reception hours again the next day so couldn't get pool towels. When we did meet the owners, they were really friendly & gave us lots of recommendations on great places to eat and things to do.Perfect location, close enough to walk to the main streets without steep hills but far enough away to be quiet. Would stay here again just for this!Room was a good size with wardrobe & space for luggage, as well as dining inside & on the balcony. AC worked well & tv had some streaming apps installed. Basic kitchen necessities and toiletries supplied. Pool was great, very clean and perfect temperature and only ever saw one other person using it. Note that the spa doesn't work.Minor criticism was the shower door didn't close properly, jammed a little and the shower head could use replacing (worked well, just cosmetic).

Location Location Location ! Great place to stay. Everything as advertised/promised. Good value for money and managers were friendly and helpful. Everything well maintained and clean and tidy. We were able to walk everywhere, would definitely stay here gain. Did I mention the location ?!

Wonderful location and within walking distance to bars, restaurants and port of Airlie.The apartment smelt clean the minute we walked in. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable and had a great view from the balcony. The pool was also a great size and nice place to relax. John and Colleen were very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended and would definitely return in the future.

This is a fabulous location with walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants etc. The apartments are clean, spacious and comfortable. John and Colleen (the Resort Managers) are super friendly, very helpful and accommodating. We had to move our dates which they did with ease and they also allowed us extra time in the room on our last day as there was no one in immediately after us... at no charge. Highly recommend and will be my first choice should we visit Airlie Beach again.

Great place with lots of room. Cleaning lady was quite rude when I told her we weren't leaving our room until 11am
