Kingsmen Hair

I am writing this review to remind myself never to go here ever again. I keep taking my kids to this place because its quick and every time I say it will be the last. Then I forget that I said that and take them again. The service is quick, but that doesn’t matter because each person comes out looking exactly the same. They only do one haircut despite what you request. Best suggestion is to save yourself the $25 and invest in a pair of clippers to do it yourself. I shouldn’t even comment on the lack of customer service, because that isn’t what you would go to this place for.Quick-5 Quality-0 customer service -0

I have come here many times for both my son and myself. Each time they have performed a very excellent and delicate job in cutting my hair, they have even used a variety of techniques for both me and my son. I really appreciate the time and effort they put into my hair and so I will definitely come here again.

Good clean haircut from friendly staff. Wasn't top quality with detail and skills as I've had at other barbers but was definitely a nice simple cut as I asked for. Well priced at $30 for a men's cut.

The barber kept talking all the time with his college, it sounded like a serious discussion with almost zero focus on his job! I was really worry if he knows what he is doing with my hairs at the same time!

EDIT: I went back when it was quieter and the barber was great, efficient service with a quality cut.I've been here twice now and both times the barber didn't seem to listen to what I actually asked for but yeah definitely on me for not speaking up earlier when I realised they were doing their own thing. $30 for a haircut that's hit or miss (and miss both times for me so far). They can do a sick fade, so go if you're aiming for a textbook crew cut - but anything more imaginative, I'd recommend Man Cave in Chatswood ($5 for a better cut and experience) or somewhere the barber listens to you (or better yet is more experienced and willing to work with you to find the style you'd like)

Friendly staff usually. The barbers are each pretty experienced and swapping in between them still gets good results. Usually not too busy and if you have to wait you can just go to the coffee kiosk right next to barber shop. They are a bit lazy sometimes and sometimes don't seem to clean things well (shared clippers between clients without cleaning)- I showed up at 3:30 with only 1 other person waiting they were closing at 4 and refused to cut my hair... should change their closing hours instead of spending the last 30 minutes cleaning during business hours.

We brought our son in for his first ever haircut at your St Ives store (he is 14 months old) When we entered, we were unsure as to which people were staff or customers. We weren't greeted or acknowledged in any way. When we did identify an employee (thanks to the branding on his shirt), I asked if he was available to cut my son's hair. He simply shrugged, walked away to the furthest chair and stood there. When my son sat down, he was completely calm and content showing no signs of distress. A few snips in, and our son started crying hysterically. At the time I believed this was just out of fear and tried to comfort him as best as I could. The barber didn't offer to assist in consoling him or attempt to make him feel comfortable in any way. He simply stood there, mute, as though we were the greatest inconvenience to his day. After leaving the store, and coming back after a break, we tried again. The barber was unable to finish the cut as by this point, our son was too hysterical. When we got home, at closer inspection of his head, we found multiple cuts and scratches along his ears, at the base of his neck and on the back of his head. I understand that this kind of thing can happen, but not to this degree, and not without any acknowledgment from the person responsible. I suggest that if your staff are not qualified to cut a child's hair, that you should remove it from the advertising and that you should train them on basic customer service and communication.
