The Cake Lady Cafe
Turkey sandwich was delicious. Too bad I had to wait 45mins for a toasted sandwich with the rest of our order. Walked down the road and visited a lovely second hand store while waiting. Staff seemed unwell and not overly interested in service. Cook was apologetic for overlooking the items on the order because she didn't check it. Didn't seem like an overly busy crowd, not sure why took quite so long. We chose your venue because of great reviews. I'm thinking next time might be worth trying Banjo's across the road if you're on limited time. We didn't try the cake because we didn't have quite that much time in our perfect life but cake might be have been great.Ouch, response seems like a personal attack when review was about the time frame. Who's personality showing through now?

The Cake Lady Cafe
We dropped in on the way through on Mothers Day, and the place was crazy! After a quick Devonshire tea, we could see why. Great food, good coffee and very friendly and accommodating staff. We are already planning a trip back for lunch in the near future. Highly recommended.

fun little cafe with all the nostalgic vibes! So so cute! food was great. Simple but delicious. Service was great and the staff are so friendly. Must try! We tried this as a random stop during our road trip in Tassie and the kitsch was just calling me. would be great for a ladies tea. so cute!

Lovely retro cafe with awesome sevice, homemade cakes, that are just like Mum use to make. We had the berry and also the mango smoothies, along with toast sandwiches and also tried or devoured the raspberry and coconut slice.Thank you Mum" for the lovely food and service."

We love this place, a trip down memory lane with all the lovely vintage furniture and bricabrac. We had the apple crumble with coffees, loved it, such a big serve as well. The staff are so lovely and a visit to the toilets is a must.

Stopped in at this amazingly quirky little Cafe for coffee & cake today must say it was the best coffee we have had in 12 days of travelling around Tasmania they have a great range of gluten free cakes & meals on offer all serviced by lovely staff Absolutely lovely

Won't find a better spot to take your mum for Devonshire Tea mid-jaunt in the countryside.Cake Lady herself is both a sassy sweetheart and, although this might be inappropriate for her to read here, very easy on the eyes.Place is a stand out. 50's diner vibes all up and down without losing a distinct Tazzy homeliness. Places don't exist like this unless somebody loves them from conception. It is my hope that more of us can see and appreciate how unique this type of business is, and pay tribute by supporting it regularly. If I'm ever in New Norfolk again I'll definitely be back.

On a cold New Norfolk day this is a welcoming place for cake with a side of coffee. The lemon tart was amazing and very lemony. This quirky shop is worth a visit for the retro, and eclectic tables and chairs.But come for the cakes, so worth it

Brilliant cafe in New Norfolk. Beef burger I ordered was delicious and juicy. Staff here were very very very lovely and helpful. I could recommend this shop for you if you are seeking a place for brunch
