Tocumwal Chocolate School

We went to Tocumwal specifically for the chocolate tasting with Wendy and I am so glad that we did.The chocolate tasting was extremely educational, eye-opening and delicious - We were first greeted with an amazing praline and a to-die-for hot chocolate, then we went through the journey of the cocoa bean, the types, where they’re sourced, the processes of fermentation & drying and lastly we had tastings of over 10 varieties & strengths of the end product we all know and love: chocolate.Wendy guided us through the tasting and helped us to know what to look for when we want to purchase a high quality chocolate and to understand that chocolate isn’t only for eating as a treat, but that it should be enjoyed as a pairing with other foods. We are looking forward to using our new knowledge, not only for gift-buying, but knowing that we will only purchase more quality chocolate from now on.Thank you Wendy for the experience, we look forward to staying with you in the future and learning more!

We loved our two night stay at Tocumwal Chocolate School. Perfect surroundings and tasteful, quiet and comfortable rooms. The food was so delicious that we ate ‘in’ for both breakfasts and dinners. Thanks Wendy. We’ll be back!

This is just like the pub with NO beer. No CHOCOLATE!Although stated in first line of Chocolate School Accommodation Web site .“Benefit from an unlimited supply of Chocolate.” We received none !Very disappointed.Room small, unable to self cater for dinner.Host didnt follow though with promises of being taken extra care of due to their failure to provide full dates book due to their booking system double booking room .

If you appreciate gourmet food and luxury accommodation, then Tocumwal Chocolate School will be a fantastic experience. With genuine, welcoming hosts, we enjoyed superb breakfasts on the deck overlooking the bushland setting. We also stayed in for gourmet 3 course dinners with amazing flavours including the best steak i have ever tasted.Located within walking distance to town and the golf club, Tocumwal Chocolate School is the perfect place to explore the local area and appreciate quality food and accommodation.

Such an amazing way to spend your weekend. Wendy and Martin are so friendly and provide great hospitality. They are such good company. The location is great - so quiet and peaceful. We had the best food ever, all cooked by Wendy. Such unique and amazing flavours. Breakfast and dinner 10/10. The chocolate class was such an amazing experience, we learnt so much and got to taste over ten different types of great quality chocolate. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves a quick, quiet getaway with amazing food and great company.

We spent a lovely few days here for our honeymoon & we wouldn't have changed a thing. The accommodation was perfect, the hosts are so friendly. Definitely recommend
