Yellow Bird Cafe
Had some time so went in to yellowbird myself for a bite and a pint. I live around the area. Venue has a cool hip hop atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. I got a variation of a chicken burger meal and a house lager. I was impressed by the portion sizes and the food tasted amazing, definitely will return! No complaints, keep it up!

Before we got here, we thought that this is a Mexican joint but actually it was only a portion of it's menu. They serve brunch/pub grub dishes. The burger was a little dry but the fries are crunchy which is how I like it. The fritters are pretty good and not as dry as the other restaurant's. Food comes out fairly quickly too and they have extensive drinks menu including cocktails.Food - 7Service - 7Vibe - 9Price - $$$,

Great place to have a late lunch, Tacos are perfect for to sate my hunger, I hadn't decided what I wanted to eat today. The staff were lovely, made me a nice cuppa tea.

Great food, staff, drink! Was in the area for a show around the corner and just grabbed some dinner.Burrito was delicious. Lots of filling and served with corn chips and sourcream/guac.The heaps of fries was exactly that. A basket of crispy fries!

UPDATE! 27.04.2023Enjoyed a delicious salad today and can happily say the food has dramatically improved. The staff were helpful and the atmosphere relaxed as always. Loved it!I always enjoy the atmosphere, but the food has been lacking recently. The chicken wings were tough and a wet wipe would be appreciated for the saucey sauce. The chicken tacos were a little disappointing. The sauce on top wasn't very delicious.The staff are always great, but the menu is missing flavour punches.

This place has been around for years and it is good to see that Chaps can maintain a bit of edgy rock n roll. Good atmosphere and a classic dive bar, good food and tunes. Tasty nachos and a solid beer choice.

I had a few late night drinks here, which were reasonably priced & a very good pour off my favourite spirit. Nice bar in a funky area playing cool music. I didn't eat here, so not reading the food

Cool vibe but alright bar food. We visited on the weekend when we failed to make reservations so this was one of the only places available. The decor is very hip and lighting is low. Music is loud so choose the outdoor seating if you would like to have a conversation with your companions.I got the cheeseburger - it was a classic, and came with fries and a sauce of choice. I would describe it as not any better than eating at a fast food restaurant but paying a slightly higher price of $20 for the meal. There were quite a few pickles in the burger, and not much melted cheese.My husband enjoyed his bean quesadilla, which came with some chopped tomatoes and cream sauce on the side. I had a cider on the tap and my husband had a margarita.
