Freddy’s Fish and Chips
I don’t want to be mean but this was close to the worst fish and chips we’ve had. Really shouldn’t sell food to this standard. The fish smelt bad, super fishy and rubbery and the batter was doughy and thick. Chips and potato cake were soggy and just no taste. The only redeeming items were the dim sims and the chicko roll which tasted like you’d except. Couldn’t get the kids to eat it and had to bring out the beans on toast while I eat the chicko roll. Gota love the 90’s

Great local chipper has re-opened, and the energy, passion and top customer service of new proprietors apparent immediately. The food is excellent: beautifully battered fish, chunky, crisp-on-outside, soft-on-inside chips, packaged thoughtfully to avoid sweating, and a great selection of extras.

Amazing customer service, so great to see what I assume was a family run business. Either way, the people working did so in a noticeably hard working manner with care and passion. The place was EXTRAORDINARILY clean. Will definitely be coming back.

I've been coming here pretty much since they took over for the fresh fish and chips.Tonight.. I felt like a traditional burger with the basics...cheese lettuce tomatoes onions... and my add on...beetroot.I wasn't expecting anything more than a typical tasteless fish n chip shop burger (I did say I had a craving).WOW...what a delicious old school classic tasting burger. Where have they been hiding this?.Beautiful waygu thick pattie...so flavoursome.This really makes Danny's burger and the B*East look like amateurs.At 58...I think I'm qualified to remember old school classic burgers.Well done guys.

Freddy’s Fish and Chips
One of the few restaurants that opens late till 9pm. When we got there at around 8pm, we were the only customers there.We had a Freddy Cheesy burger and the Fish of the day plus chips. Both were delicious! The burger patty was tender with generous slices of cheese and a secret yummy sauce. The Gummy fish of the day was fresh and crisp. It's fried upon order so you get it piping hot.Sauce for the chips actually comes as a separate item, but they offered it to us for free when we wanted to pay for it.The boss and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommended if you're in the area!

Awesome local fish and chip shop. Crispy chips & batter, fresh salad and great selection of seafood. Will be back to try the burgers!
