I did a workshop last weekend with Rod and honestly had the best time. I made a wallet that I’ll actually use every day.I would highly recommend his workshop and a trip to his shop in The Rocks too to see his work and have a chat.Thanks a million Rod!

Walked past on the first night of Vivid to admire the incredible range of leather satchels and wallets.I asked whether the compact wallets were RFID protected. No, but Rod the owner told me to return in 45 minutes and he will customise the kangaroo leather wallet with both the RFID foil, but also hand stitch red thread to make it stand out. Very happy with the result.

Where to start? ... I would give Rod 10 stars if I could. I had the best afternoon, chatting, laughing, sharing, whilst watching him deftly cut out the leather for my husband’s beautiful buffalo leather belt and then carefully stitch it on his wonderful sewing machine. I was watching a true artisan in his work. Everything he did was done with a smile. Customers popped in whilst he was busy sewing and he gave everyone a very genuine warm welcome. As well as the gorgeous belt, I ended up buying a few more presents which will be a joy to give, knowing that they are high-end quality items. I left the shop with a full and happy heart and felt blessed to have met him. Thanks so much Rod.

Came across the shop strolling through The Rocks. My husband had been looking for a small pocket wallet for a long time but couldn’t find anything he was happy with, British £20 notes were too large for anything we could find, until we found Rod’s shop. Not only was the wallet exactly what my husband had been looking for, and could accommodate the £20 note, Rod was fantastic. My husband bought the middle sized Comando Wallet and liked it so much we went back the next day to buy another! Rod actually custom made the second one as my husband wanted it with the security lining. When we went back the following day to pick it up I saw a lovely ladies cream and burgundy one and bought that for myself as well! Would definitely recommend both the product and Rod’s expertise.

My partner has been looking for a new wallet to replace his old one for several months. Too often they are too big, poorly designed or made of hard, Indian leather. How refreshing to stumble across this shop, complete with working artisan, in The Rocks today. We ended up buying two wallets - his and hers! Beautifully soft, made with our choice of leather and can be customised for any needs!

My partner and I came along to one of their Workshops with The Rocks Markets and it was great! We’ve come home with our very own Commando X wallet that we made (almost) entirely ourselves! Thanks so much Rod for being a great instructor !

I was after a leather belt and was directed to this wonderful shop.They didn't have exactly what I was after, so the friendly and skillful Rod made a custom one for me there and then!An amazing thing to watch his skill and craftsmanship in hand making a unique belt fitted perfectly for me. All for a price that left me smiling.I will treasure it and the memory.Highly recommended.

I had a favourite, incredibly hard-to-find belt buckle that was attached to a belt that was well past its day. Rod custom-made a replacement belt and the results are better than when the original belt was brand new. There's no question I'll be back. (I have another, unattached buckle that requires something a bit different, and I'm absolutely certain he'll nail it :) )

I am so so happy with my investment on my custom made Borsa L bag. I had been looking for a sturdy but stylish work bag to carry my laptop, and Rod was able to bring my wishes to life! And with a such short notice, he was able to make my bag before my flight home to California. I love the way the leather feels and the functionality of the inner pocket. What I love most is that this bag will last forever and only get better with time.I surprised my husband with the Commander wallet, which he LOVES!!! His favorite color is red, and I love the detail of the red stitching with the black leather. He is able to fit all his necessary cards and cash.I also bought my mom a small travel pouch to fit her passport, and important documents when traveling.I love all the Leather Trading co products because they are extremely well made and made with the best materials.Lastly, working with Rod and Lisa was soo much fun and I feel like we are friends for life! They are genuinely kind people and know what they are doing when it comes to leather goods and creating beautiful products. I will be buying my leather goods from them in the future.
