Lakehouse Manor

Very disappointing. On day of check in owner called to advise the cleaner was sick so we could still check in but the place won't have been cleaned after the last guests. He promised he would come personally and sort it out, so we arrived, quickly got ready and left to attend a wedding, trusting that it would be cleaned by the time we got back. When we arrived back late at night We were extremely disappointed to find the beds still unmade, the previous guests rubbish still on benches and in kitchen, toilet roll holder empty, basically nothing had been done. We managed to find some clean spare sheets in the cupboard and had to make up the bed ourselves. The shower was dirty and mouldy. The Wi-Fi did not work at all. There is no phone signal. The owner promised a $200 discount to make up for it not being cleaned, but even that never happened. I would definately not book again, there are many better options in Malaney.

What a place to relax for a few days! Beautiful property set amongst natures best. Wish we could have stayed for longer to take more evenings in with the gorgeous lake backdrop.The place was clean and tidy and the hosts had left chocolates and xmas cookies for our arrival. Very thoughtful. Everything else we needed was there - glasses, cutlery, cookware, and some food staples in the pantry.The location is only a short drive to town but you may not want to leave the deck once you're there anyway!Would stay again.

Beautiful venue, perfect for an intimate family wedding. The food was absolutely delicious.... still wanting more of that apple sauce. Delicious!

The review left by the guest saying the house was not cleaned did not stay at my venue - I have no record of her name out of over 750 guests. Jeremy

Lovely location with big rooms. But lots of broken/dirty things including the signage. Terrible phone reception and intermittent wifi
