Buyer beware. Ended up with a roofing job that the Qld Housing Resilience Team described as one of the worst they had seen. My brand new roof leaked within 2 weeks of it being installed. This company had to go back to my property many times to fix their work and still couldn't get it right. They were over priced and they under performed. Jade is lovely and helpful until you make your first payment. It's all downhill from there. All this company cared about was getting paid, not doing a decent job. Do your research and find a decent local roofing company who won't rip you off and won't leave you with a dodgy roof requiring repairs. Don't let this company near your roof. If you already have get their work checked. Having spoken to many other people who have used this company in Cairns I know I am not the only one who has had such a bad experience. Am I a disgruntled customer yes I am. In the end I had to pay 15K for a roof that was faulty in so many ways. The Qld Housing Resilience scheme gave this company another 11K. So they got a total of 26K for a job poorly done. Not right and in my opinion they should have got nothing but the costs of the materials covered. Steer clear unless you want to have to make a complaint to the QBCC like I had to do. That results in a lot of paperwork for very little resolution! Choose more wisely than me! Wish I'd done a bit more research first.

I have had Tropical Roofing at my home to Re Screw my roof , replace my guttering and instal gutter guard. The crew that did the majority of the work was Tom and Ben (Jacko). These two guys are so conscientious about the quality of their work I have to recommend them and the company if you need roofing done.The job was completed , as quoted, and on time. The crew where polite and friendly. They cleaned the entire property to ensure there was no metal or screws left lying about on completion.Well done Tropical Roofing.I could not be happier with your work standard.

I had water leaking into the ceiling in a property I rent out. I had one builder tell me it's the Air Con pipes. I had an Air Con guy tell me that there was some water condensation around the pipes but that there was evidence that the majority of the water was running down the rafters and onto the pipes from the roof.I called Tropical Roofing and clearly explained to the receptionist what was happening and what I was told. I asked if they could inspect and see if there was water coming through from above the pipes or anywhere else.They charged me a call out fee and all they told me was that the Air Con pipes were leaking or from where the pipes come through the wall. I was not happy and asked the receptionist if they had inspected the rest of the roof or just decided that because there was some water coming from the pipes that that was the sole cause of the leak and didn't both checking the rest of the roof. She said that she could not answer and that she would get someone to call me. I also informed her that the pipes come through the wall from the garage roof cavity and there was a man hole in the garage. No one called to discuss it. Instead, they decided to go a second time and inspect the roof and then charge a second call out fee. Again they came back with either the Air Con pipe or from behind the wall where the pipes come through. This time emailed my concerns and shortly afterwards I finally received a call from the inspector. Instead of answering my questions, he treated me like some low life who was just trying to get out of paying. He said the Air Con people didn't know what they were talking about and that the tenants were liars and junkies (I have never seen any evidence to support this claim). Still did not even indicate weather they inspected on the other side of the wall either.Will never use these guys ever again

Tropical Roofing were excellent. They arrived on time and worked proficiently and professionally. The guys even stopped for the minutes silence on rememberence day as a tribute to the fallen. A nice touch. We had a sick grandaughter during that time but they went above and beyond to get the water back on after having to remove the solar hot water. Couldn't fault them. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for roof repairs.

Very satisfied with the upgrade work done on the multiple town house complex with carports. Jade (admin) was always helpful with any questions and organised the work in a timely manner. The on-site team arrived on time and worked at the job in hand; were really as unobtrusive as a roofing team can be; left the property spotless. They also took safety quite seriously and made sure all tenants were kept up to date with their working progress. Happy to recommend them.

Excellent from start to finish. The admin girls were responsive and followed up everything asked/required by us, the guys working on the roof were quick, efficient, friendly and very professional and took time to explain and discuss aspects if we asked and just as importantly, their overall cost was very competitive. Could not fault them on anything and would highly recommend this business.
