Progear Bikes Distribution Centre

Not a great and responsible fulfilment for our order!!! We ordered a Pamona bike which is not well documented on the website whether the basket is inclusive. So we ordered a basket as well, and the bike was delivered with two baskets. We asked immediately to return one basket, but the support team insisted that we will be charged with 15% restocking fee, plus a delivery fee (if courier) and only credit would be provided (no refund).

Derailuer broke 2 weeks after buying it. Have been trying to resolve this with the company for 12 mnths to no avail. Different person answers the correspondance every time. Has been assessed by a professional and determined to not be fit for purpose. ABSOLUTLEY DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!

Bought an E-shock a couple of months ago. Have taken it riding many times and love it. It has been really reliable and is great quality and spec for price.I find that it travels around 50km per charge on most surfaces and graduations. Even on full assist.The only problem is that the battery thinks it is low at two bars showing on the display and turns off.

I have purchased a bike from Progear previously and had issues with the advertising of the features being misleading.In my most recent experience the bike I ordered shipped with a number of faults in the box:Shattered reflector components, bell broken, two rear wheels/hubs, misaligned frame components.When you pay for a bike you expect it to be usable, even if low quality. This was most definitely not so. 90% assembled in the box is an absolute joke.

I ordered my RD-120 Bicycle on a Monday and I got my bike on Wednesday to Adelaide. So far I'm very happy with it. Can recommend these bikes to anyone.

Ordered a bike on the 5th of June, paid for express postage to be here within 3 business days (in time for a birthday gift 5 business days after purchase date) The item is in stock in the same city as I live and was advised express post would be 2-3 business days. 5 business days later not only do I not have the bike yet, they havent even processed my order.If you do order a bike from Progear. Do NOT pay via Paypal. Progear still havent accepted the payment through Paypal that left my account on the 5th of June and have difficulty processing payments this way, it is still sitting pending acceptance from their end.Dissapointed birthday girl.

Bike broke after about 20 minutes of riding. The pre assembled parts too. To be fair they offered free of charge for me to post in the broken part to be repaired and that they would send it back but realistically I wanted a quicker fix, not have to wait another 4 or 5 weeks. I spent 130 dollars for a mobile bike mechanic to just come fix it. He said for the price I paid, the bike I got was actually pretty good. Particularly the break pads, the derailer and drive train were good for an entry level bike. He also assured me that the type of break that required the casette to be replaced was just one of those things that can sometimes happen even in mid level and high end bikes. Over all im happy with the product but a bit annoyed that the fix offered was a slow one. Some slight warping on the front wheel too but its only slight and does not impact performance. Would reccommend spending a little money to have a bike mechanic assemble also in case the breaks and gears need further adjustments. Overall a solid entry level bike. After service care was good as long as you're the patient type.

I was happy with the quality of the bike i purchased for my son from Progear. Unfortunately the box did not contain any pedals which is obviously an issue for a bike. I contacted the support desk and organised a time to drop by their sales office to collect the replacements. I arrived at the time arranged and was kept waiting for 45 minutes while they found a pair of pedals. They told me they were not the proper pair for the bike but would still fit. I took them home and, sure enough, they were too large (9/16 thread for a 1/2" crank). At this stage i was not going back to the sales office a third time so contacted the support desk and asked them to sort it out. They assured me they would get the correct pedals and express post them to me. Sure enough nothing has arrived in the post and radio silence from the support desk.In short the gear sold by Progear is well priced and seems good quality but their customer service is atrocious. I've given up with them and will buy a new set of pedals myself."

Bikes were advertised to be delivered within 3-5 days. Payment was made on the 21st Feb. Payment was cleared from my account on the 22nd Feb. I called today (7th March) and was told that the bike was only dispatched yesterday (6th March), though I received no email or confirmation stating the bike was dispatched yesterday so am doubtful. Spent 30 minutes with customer service and was told that hopefully my money would be returned into my account within 3-5 working days, though potentially longer.Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

They tricked me into overpaying for a crummy bike by deceptively showing me images of another good bike on their website! The bike advertised on their website is claimed to have certain specifications, all of which of good quality and known brands, while the actual bike they are selling to the customer unaware of this deceit is a substandard super cheap Chinese bike whose most parts did not even have a brand! They trick customers in broad daylight and I have set out to make them pay for this misconduct and all their violations of the Australian Consumer Law, Consumer Rights, and their dodgy treatment of customers.
