I went there as I needed an ethernet cable, the asian woman started laughing and said nowadays everybody uses usb-c. I was surprised... As i work in IT and we still use ethernet, I know that usb-c doesn't serve the same purpose. I had a look in the store and found one but decided to buy one somewhere else.

I am a customer of this store for a while. The staff is friendly and usually helpful, but just because my un - used, factory sealed and packed product worth 500 AUD was delayed for returning by 1 day they did not accept it stating their system wont accept the return due to their policy of returns within 7 days". I went to another Jaycar store and they gave me a full refund on the same.... this store in cbd just lost a customer!"

Great service, awesome team, courteous, friendly and helpful. Special shot out to Scott who went above and beyond to help with a particularly troublesome issue. Would definitely recommend swinging by for your electronic solutions. 10/10

Placed a click and collect order (website says within the hour)Went in after 3 hours to three staff behind the counter, one leaning on the counter browsing their phone. Asked to collect, they hadn’t noticed the order so hadn’t picked it.Annoyed while I waited for the order to be picked, the others were having a personal conversation sprinkled with swearing.“In stock” items were missing and weren’t able to be fulfilled - I’ve had the same issue with 120 ohm resistors at this store before, must be a stocktake issue.Well below the usual Jaycar standard

I am not handy or the electronics type, however I found the need to find a hard to find T4 screw driver. I was surprised at the amount of different items for purchase and quickly got lost trying to find what I was looking for. After asking a young guy for assistance, he showed me exactly where they are stocked and searched for the cheapest option. Overall a great experience for a rare visits
