The Support Coordinators at Aruma provide exceptional service for their participants and are a pleasure to work with.

My wife is a support worker.

I assist my Uncle with various aspects of his care but he has or had a support coordinator who was working with Aruma.I heard through a mutual friend that his Support Coordinator left the organisation approximately 7 weeks ago and I have not been contacted or advised of her departure or a replacement Coordinator.I sent an email to her last week and received a reply that she would be on leave and back on 20th August 2020.I would have thought that the organisation would have arranged for her emails to be sent to her replacement or a supervisor. This email alone should have been changed by the organisation.Another staff member was listed as a contact in her absence and I sent her an email straight after I received the reply and still I have heard nothing.My Uncle's current plan ends on the 17th November and obviously, a discussion regarding the renewal of his plan would be ideal.I also inquired about some equipment that he currently requires.This is really disappointing and I do not feel overly confident that you (Aruma) have my Uncle's needs at heart at present, let alone other vulnerable members of our community who would also be in the same boat but may not have family or friends who are able to assist them.You have my contact details. You also have my Uncle's details. We would appreciate this matter being addressed as a matter of urgency.Thank you
