Very rude manager, if you have a problem with a product then you are sweet out of luck. Will deny all sense of reasonable logic.Manager even came into the carpark to continue the argument, it got quite heated.I have contacted manufacturer and they have sent me a new surfboard no worries, clearly defective, should have been dealt with instore in the first instance.

I only ever really buy wax here, but nonetheless, The service is very good. The staff are always friendly and smile and greet me. They don't address me as 'mate', 'buddy', 'champ' or any of those other condescending titles that I have got at other surf shops on the coast. I am happy to spend my money here. Great job! Also, Sex Wax is $5, can't go wrong with that!

I loved my experience at Sideways Burleigh! The staff were very helpful and friendly. I couldn't believe the discounts on all clothing, swimwear, surfboards, skateboards and accessories. Definitely recommend shopping here!

A great store with awesome products however the customer service needs to be rectified. A staff member put a pair of shorts that we wanted to buy back on the rack after they were put aside for us by his colleague and when we were interested in buying a skateboard the same guy was extremely unhelpful and made us not want to spend any money. Will find another store that cares for their customers.

Definitely a great store with lot of stuff etc. and also old stuff from last session for a way to high price!! Pls, check that what you want online again, 50% cheaper!! The staff is friendly, but not correct trained...

I bought my first surfboard here today and have to say the value and customer service was exceptional. Tyler was really helpful and knowledgeable and got me set up, ready for a surf tomorrow morning. I asked a bunch of questions and all were answered kindly and thoroughly without making me feel stupid or like a noob.The range is great & I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Genuinely the staff all very helpful in there but had very unpleasant experience today, was purchased a surfboard for a gift, a young boy who serve me were very helpful and friendly as I know what I was looking for already, just a quick shop. but I only have a question about the screw, want to purchase another screw for the fins.He asked the other staff for assistance, one of the old rude staff were behind the counter doing other things and I was the only customer at that time wasn’t busy at all, staff heard my question, he was very rude and judge mental ( not even wearing a mask at work place ) made me felt my question was stupid and continue doing he’s work behind the counter don’t even care my question.No one offer to give me a hand to put a 8’0 ft surfboard as well, my car were parked just in front of the shop. It’s not a necessary have to help me but just felt this shopping experience was very careless.I don’t like to give bad feedback to people who work in retail, but this shopping experience was very disappointing.Please provide more training for the staff for basic customers service.

Joe was super helpful with his knowledge when helping me select a board suited to my style and experience. He was very friendly, polite and worked within my budged. 100% will shop here again. 5 stars

bought a board on facebook marketplace and needed some fins, some wax and a bag for it. the guy was super nice, showed me how to use the futures fin system as well as ran me through how he likes to wax his boards (i'm a bit of a novice so I asked him to, and he was happy to). great prices too especially if you catch a sale

I have shopped at Sideways Burleigh multiple times now and picked up items from wetsuits to leashes, footpads, a surf skate and a surfboard. I've always found the staff helpful, friendly and engaging. One of the managers, Robbie, has looked after me a few times and is always informative and helpful.
