Cairns quality homes staff were fantastic throughout the initial enquiry and house design process and we were happy with them throughout the building process, however ongoing issues with our finished house and a lack of communication and responsiveness to queries (I’m talking up to a year in between communications) has left us with a very bitter taste in our mouths. Our home is deteriorating around us due to inferior product/poor workmanship and we have been trying for over three years to have these issues resolved with intermittent communication and bandaid fixes that just don’t cut it.Perhaps the high staff turnover could have something to do with miscommunication however we have been in direct contact with the owner of the company and still our issues remain unresolved.Do not let them suck you in at the enquiry stage when they want your money. You’ll regret if if you have any issues down the track.

Spent over half a million just on the basic build.. they started building before we even saw let alone approved a plan and to check it was correct and went down hill from there.. Missing windows, stair case wrong way around, shower screens done incorrectly,and wrong slope of bathroom floors had to put a drop ceiling in garage to handle plumbing design issues so I can't get my boat out the back yard two interior walls are so crooked you can see the bend in them from across the room. Took about four years for council approval. Never got a defect list when house was completed and none of my issues were ever resolved. Everything I asked was fobbed off and never got back to me.. had to pay for their defects out of my pocket. Requested some repairs be made under warranty when I finally got approval last year. Never contacted me again nothing been done..
