I had such an amazing experience at Blow Dry Bar Glenelg. The hairdressers there were so kind and helpful. They made me feel so looked after and so pretty. I absolutely loved how my hair turned out. Would %1000 recommend getting your hair done here. I had the lovely Victoria as my hairdresser to look after my hair and she was so wonderful and friendly. Well worth the time and money because you will absolutely love how your hair turns out. Thank you girls again so much for taking such great care of my hair.Love, Mollie xx

I had dark roots & brassy ends and asked to go to a darkish brown. I showed numerous photos of the look I wanted that were all similar. After the colour was rinsed and the blow drying started the hair dresser asked me if I liked it and responded mentioning it was a lot darker than I wanted. The owner over heard and directed the hair dresser to use a product on my hair to essentially remove the dye.This product they used on my hair further dried my hair out. I sat with my hair in the basin whilst two hair dressers rubbed this product into my hair and essentially stripped my hair of colour.No other colour was added..My hair has been left with uneven shades of FADED colour!I messaged the owner of Instagram and she has been nothing but passive aggressive and implies that’s it’s MY FAULT my hair is the way it is because I showed numerous photos of what I wanted. She’s tried to portray that she’s just trying to ‘educate’ me.. Yes, one photo had a face frame none of the others did and the others were extremely similar! (The face frame wasn’t done because they didn’t have time). This has nothing to do with faded and uneven colours it looks embarrassing!The owner insists on her policies, and what she’s done for me!!!! She wants me to wait another week to get my hair redone. I do not feel comfortable returning for the redo due to the owners responses and the tone she has used!! Do not trust that my hair will be any better after a redo!Happy to take your money!They took a before photo but not an after photo.. Never got the mirror out to show me the back of my hair either. So all I could really see is the sides - until I got home!!Highly DO NOT RATE !!

The place is nice and the staff is very polite and friendly, but the prices are absolutely insane. I paid for the same treatment with the same brand products $250 less in Byron Bay (which is not cheap at all). And the result was not was I was expecting.

I got my hair cut and styled by the wonderful Jack at House of Sophia! It has always been a struggle for me to find the right hairdresser who knows how to work with long and thick hair, and I can not thank Jack enough for his exceptional and professional work! The rest of the team were also very friendly and accommodating, while the salon itself was very clean, spacious and of great atmosphere. I highly recommend this for all your hair care needs!

Booked in for my formal hair got told it would be $50, ended up paying $90 just to get my hair straightened! Could have done it myself.

Beautiful salon located in Glenelg! Very homey and comfortable! I've been seeing Sarah for 15 years and she is incredible at hair transformations - you will not be disappointed!
