My daughter does drum lessons here and she loves it. She has an awesome teacher called Pete and Phil that owns the school is also great. She is learning a lot and improving her skills as a drummer each week.

The Northern Beaches Drum School is excellent and I thoroughly recommend them. Phil (the owner) has built up a good group of teachers. My son has been having lessons with Pete for several years now and has also had lessons with other teachers when Pete was away, and I can say they all teach to a very high standard. In our experience, Pete is great at adapting to each student's musical style and interests. Plus he pays attention to details and instils this attitude in his students. We can tell the instruction is working because not only does my son enjoy his lessons, but he is also building up his skills and getting great results in exams.

It’s our highlight of the week... drum lessons with Phil! Gracie (9 y.o) will certainly be a rock chick with the way things are going and that’s “totally awesome” according to her dad. Thanks Phil, you’ve ignite a spark in her and it’s beautiful see her beaming with happiness at the end of her lessons.

Pete is a truely great mentor for young kids - he adapts his teaching to suit a child and is inspirational. Phil, the owner, makes it easy to keep enrolling. No pressure, no sell/buy attitude. This is my child’s 4th year and as he goes into secondary school we know Drum lessons with Pete are a must.

We love Norther Beaches Drum School. Phil is very welcoming and accommodating right from the start which is a really nice introduction to the school and then my 5 year old son has had Pete as his teacher who he idolises and really looks up to. Pete is very talented, makes learning fun and engaging, knows how to handle little kids and over the last several months that we have been attending, I have noticed my sons skills getting better and better. Very happy here and thanks guys for everything you do!

I have 2 boys at the drum school and they have been going for many years.Having experienced many teachers including Phil the owner I can say that it is a friendly, fun environment for all and in which both my boys have become proficient in all aspects of drumming, reading music, rhythm and tone with an appreciation of many types of music. Music is targeted to what the student is interested in and also school band pieces.

My son started with Phil when he was 4.5 and absolutely loved it. Can't recommend Northern Beaches Drum School enough. Phil is excellent with kids and my son who is now 12 looks forward to his drum lessons every week, and learns some amazing drum beats each time.

My son has been attending the Drum School for many years and not only has his playing developed in a way we're thrilled with and he's proud of, but his relationship with his tutors has been built on empathy and understanding in the way he needs to bring out the best drummer in him. We couldn't recommend more highly.
