We visited Tracks Cafe on 26/12/2022 for lunch. It was a lovely biggest cafe with nice staff and we were surprised that the cafe didnot have surcharge for public holiday. 5 stars for the view, design, staff, customer service, etc. However, we gave 3 stars as GG doesnt have 3.5 stars for the food that we ordered (big breakfast and Calamari)1/ Big breakfast: we chose sourdough toast but the edge of the toast was sourdough, the inner part texture was similar to sandwich bread. Bacon and tomato was not fried properly, more like warm bacon. Poached eggs were overcooked a bit. The rest (mushroom, spinach, hashbrown, sausage) was fine.2/ Salt and peper Calamari: both the chips and Calamari were not crispy (soft). Salad was good.

We were staying in Queenstown on our way to Cradle Mountain and had breakfast here. Service was excellent, food was fantastic. Great portions (I had the full English breakfast), excellent coffee and very well-priced. It's right next to the railway station with easy metered parking and easy access to train station toilets. If you're staying in Queenstown, this is the best place to have brekkie.

We went for dinner which was so good, and we decided to go back for breakfast. For dinner I had Chicken Parmi. Very delicious and big portion. We also ordered a garlic bread with cheese that was so good, we didn’t have time to take picture before eating. For breakfast I had Fluffy pancake with Bacon, eggs, and maple syrup. Very good as well.Definitely best chicken parmi, and best breakfast in Queenstown Tas.

Visited town on Easter Sunday for train ride, but was fully booked out. So walked past the Cafe, and it looked nice, thought of giving it a shot.Had a mocha coffee, chicken schnitzel, eggs Atlantic.Everything tasted fresh and nice.Good portions, nice ambience.Service was a little slow, don't mind but could have been better.

Great food at a very reasonable price. The place looks cosy and the railway-related design is really nice. Can definitely recommend it!

Nice cafe! Scones were warmed up before it was served. Tasted amazing. Good hot chocolate too. Very reasonably priced. A good place for a little stop over snack.

There's a lot to love about this cafe. It's inside a heritage building, right next to where the wilderness train leaves. It's very tastefully decorated, repurposing old train parts and use of beautiful Tasmanian wood. The menu is well executed. The vegan bowl was absolutely spot on, while their ham and cheese croissants were very satisfying. Expect a decent cup of coffee with your meal. Service is polite, courteous and efficient. Definitely make sure to stop in when in this beautiful part of the world.

Lovely atmosphere, really nice staff and a delicious coffee with biscuits on my way out of town this morning. The train and clean bathrooms were a big bonus too. Thanks.

we stopped here when we arrived to town. got some coffees and some chips. and then we came back again in the morning before we went rafting. it’s very convenient because it’s right by/in the railway station hence the name. there is not free wifi besides the tas gov free that doesn’t work really that well at all
