Kitchen Connection
The service I received at kitchen connection was second to none. So impressed with the knowledge of the showroom consultant Lyn and my designer Kim was great! She completely reworked my kitchen space and it’s so much more functional now. My customer support manager Damien did a fantastic job arranged all my trades and it was a smooth process. I highly recommend Kitchen Connection Jindalee!

For us recently moved to Brisbane, the way Kitchen Connection organised all the tradesman was fantastic. We are very happy with the time frame for the renovation and the end result.

Great implementation, Poor conceptionWe’ve just had our kitchen renovated through Kitchen Connections Jindalee. Our renovation was managed by Steven who was efficient, responsive and a pleasure to work with it. All the tradies (installer Scott, electrician Mitch and others from Bizelec, plumber from Vibe, tiler Darren, Troy from TDM glass) who were contracted through Kitchen Connections were always punctual, friendly and did their jobs extremely well. Overall, the renovation was completed pretty much within schedule. Our major disappointment was the designing phase which we felt was r hard sell with a “designer” (I believe she is based not in the Jindalee showroom but the Mt Gravatt one) who didn’t really seem interested enough to discuss ideas or offer creative solutions. We felt rushed by her to commit to a design, being told that a voucher we were given from the store would only be valid if we signed up and paid advance on the day. This felt like a pressure tactic. Moreover, the designer was difficult to get in touch with and slow to respond after we signed on the dotted line following the initial consult (at this stage, we wished to make some changes to the design). It made us feel like all she, and by extension Kitchen Connections, cared about was the $$$. At the end of it, we feel like we ended up with a stock standard design which was not particularly tailored to our specific needs and could have been purchased from any old store. Perhaps we did not correctly understand the designer’s role and perhaps the designing issue may not have been a problem for someone who has experience with renovation or are a 100% sure of the exact design that they want. However, we were looking to the designer for her expertise in kitchen design and sadly received very little of this. Also, at the time of check measure, the designer had failed to pass on to the project manager the final design that we had okayed, which meant that he turned up to the appointment with the old plans, which was quickly rectified by Steven. There were other confusion about tile pattern etc as well.Although the project management and workmanship were faultless, we are left feeling a little ripped off and like the flaws in the conception/design stage have cost us our dream kitchen.

I DO NOT recommend this company with a passion.Went there an explained that I need a quote for a kitchen for a house that in the design stage so I can found out if I need to reduce the size of the house but the kitchen won't change. To get there we had to drive 40 minute and were told they will book us in a week later so we came back a week later to be greeted at the door and told they can't help us till the plans are finalised or the house is built awaiting the kitchen. They had our number but waited till we turned up to just turn us away. I can't get the plans finalised until I work out if I can afford it and I can't get the quote till the plans are finalised, conundrum. But in the end I have been given the number to a very good cabinet maker who is all to happy to help.

Our pre-installation service was very good. Once we had the kitchen in and had a problem it has been awful. We have used vinyl wrap fronts and direct sunlight bubbles the wrap causing it to lift off the fronts. So don’t use vinyl wrap if you have any sunlight in your kitchen..After 12 months of phone calls and visits finally got new panels installed. Except the profiles were completely different to the other panels on the same island bench. Then on second attempt we have a different finish, different coloured silicone on the floor and different colour backing which can be seen on the inside edge.No-one returns our calls or is interested in helping. Do not buy a kitchen here. They are not interested or capable of fixing any problems and their vinyl wrap product is next to useless if it can’t get sun on it.

From the design stage through to completion the Kitchen Connection team was impressive. The design suggestions and layout ideas from Damien provided functionality and accessibility and he was very amenable to any small changes we suggested. The guidance and patience shown by Alexandra, Rani and Kerrie in the selection of finishes was so generous displaying a genuine interest towards the final choices. Luke, our installer was impressively skilled, displaying an eye for detail and an awesome work ethic, even putting in a couple of 12 hour days to ensure the fit out was completed to his and our satisfaction in a surprisingly short time. The tradies used by Kitchen Connection; Mark, Cameron, Simon and Christian were always punctual, efficient and neat and tidy in their respective fields, leaving us with a very polished final product. Overseeing all of this, Peter, our Customer Support Manager, ensured the whole process ran like clockwork. Great work guys! This company is very professional, pleasant and supportive at every level and I would certainly recommend them to family and friends.Thank you Kitchen Connection Jindalee for providing us with our dream kitchen. We absolutely love it as does anyone who's seen it.

I can't express enough how disappointing and upsetting our experience with Kitchen Connections Jindalee was. When we initially contacted Kitchen Connections as we were looking at renovating our kitchen, we were informed about a 'Free Kitchen Design appointment' and advised we needed to make two appointments, one to visit the showroom and one for someone to come to our house for a measure and to provide a concept/quote. We did and visited the showroom for our first appointment which was overall a very positive experience. We were issued a voucher for a discount only available on the day of our design appointment (naturally) and informed that if we didn't sign up on the day that was fine, but the consultant might ask for the voucher back which we were fine with. The consultant visited our house for our design appointment and as soon as we informed her we would not be signing up on the day as we would prefer to think it over, it was as though her personality completely changed and she became extremely condescending and rude. She asked why we even bothered booking the appointment if we clearly weren't willing to sign up on the day as she is extremely busy and would have reserved the appointment for people who are actually going to sign up. Again, we only booked the appointment as this is what Kitchen Connections advised was their process so if it is indeed the reflection of Kitchen Connection's opinion, they should really revisit their booking process. They promote that they offer this free service all over their website but they are clearly not that happy in honouring it.She implied that we clearly did not have the money to spend on the renovation and this was why she asked at the start of the appointment what our budget was and we clearly hadn't been honest with her. Customers should never have to justify that they indeed do have money to spend with the business and the fact that your representative would say that to a potential customer is extremely unbecoming.I said I was feeling quite pressured by her change in demeanour and that we were genuinely interested in a new kitchen and the appointment had also taken time out of our day as well, however we are not the kind of people to just commit to spending $50,000 without thinking it over first. The design was very different to what we had in mind initially going in to the appointment, so it would take time for us to consider. She disagreed and said in her experience she has never had anyone sign up with Kitchen Connections if they don't do it on the day of the design appointment so she doubted that we ever would. If that is indeed the case, I can most certainly see why....it might be the personality change and the way she conducts herself towards potential customers if they don't sign up with her immediately. I can't honestly see how this approach would have anyone jumping at the opportunity to build a kitchen with your company. It just kept going from there really, she told us we would lose the discount voucher which we were already aware of and we said in the scheme of $50,000, a voucher of a few thousand dollars wasn't really the be all and end all and again we'd prefer to think about it. She said she didn't know anyone who didn't like saving money. Of course we would like to save the money, however we would rather forfeit a few thousand dollars discount than commit to a $50,000 kitchen without thinking it over first. In summary, the consultant turned what should have been a very exciting and much anticipated experience for us into something negative and upsetting. We would certainly never be happy to have this consultant back in our home and would not trust her with our kitchen renovations as she clearly has only her own self interests at heart which I can only assume is comission or bonuses based on signed contracts. I certainly hope that this type of conduct is not the norm for all Kitchen Connections consultants but unfortunately since reading some of the online reviews we're inclined to think that perhaps it is. We're now making enquiries elsewhere.

We used Kitchen Connection at Jindalee for our kitchen renovation. The showroom service andadvice gave us a clear picture of what we wanted and importantly what we could afford withinbudget unlike when we visited other kitchen suppliers. This coupled with the expert advice from the designer who visited us in our house and the suggestions she made to us on layout, colours and look were fantastic and not anything we had pictured ourselves for some aspects of the design. The trades were booked in and generally arrived on schedule with only some small problems due to COVID, the works were carried out in a timely manner to our general satisfaction. Our only issue in the whole process was the lack of attention from the project Manager and that no one contacted us after the build to check in that we were happy with the finished kitchen. That aside we are very happy with the overall result and would recommend Kitchen Connection Jindalee to anyone doing a kitchen renovation
