Went here to make a return, staff were really unpleasant and weren’t happy to help even though the return was quite reasonable. don’t recommend.

Staff were friendly and helpful. However, when comparing prices of a desired product, Camera House was $50-75 more expensive than all other competitors. While saying they would price match, they only took their price down a small amount, and did not come close to matching even the highest of competitor prices. I now have the product I intended to purchase, saving over $50 by going elsewhere, and I found it bewildering at how indifferent they were regarding matching the price or losing the sale. Oh well. They were the most expensive by far and refused to price match. Their loss.

I went in to return a reusable camera that was bought as a Christmas present, as I received two of these cameras accidentally from different people, both purchased from this store.The price tag was removed, leaving a slight residue however the box remained unopened. However, regardless of this, the staff refused to accept the return due to the sticker residue and finger prints on the plastic case, both which can be easily cleaned? Very disappointing.

I have been in recently twice. The staff just have an attitude like they don’t want to be there. If I knew of another company to take my film in, I would but unfortunately there’s not many places. The North Lakes store is amazing. The young girl there with red hair is so kind and has amazing customer service. Two girls at Chermside counter just standing there talking. They make you wait until they’re ready to serve you. It’s really shocking honestly.

Came in and asked for price match on some film stock. Staff literally said yes we can price match that for you. At the counter, his colleague told him to call the boss first. They then go back on the price match promise and want to charge $12 more than competitors. That’s a high price. To clarify, digi direct, an actual store with a physical location in Brisbane quoted $19.95 for the film, pickup. When they went back on their offer they told me my quotes were online only. When I clarified it was from an actual shop the staff member just shrugged and said ‘the film is hard to get.’ I’ll never come back to this store.

Really upset with the service and quality I received from Camera House. I dropped in 2 film cameras cost me $30+ to get them developed which is fine, however majority of the photos turned out being grey screen, when I know for a FACT that nothing was affecting the lighting or blocking the camera. So my only conclusion is when they were developing them.
